I give this restaurant review video 5 out of 5. Think this place would be ideal for a 1st date.
For those that don't know, Karen's diner is a chain from Australia, couple of years ago they started opening up in the UK.
There is a fine line between bad customer service and completely demeaning another human being 😅
One of these lasted just a few months here in Auckland – because it was shite. I confidently predict this London branch will go the same way. Bullshit concept 🙄
It's like a dinner show, the lack of service is more like performance art. If you are prepared to deal with it, no reason to let it detract from the experience.

I think this performance was a combination of two things, of her liking him but also her emptying her full Karen cupboard on him, because of the camera presence and her knowing he was an influencer of sorts (good for business). I agree that the floor crawling and humiliating tasks were over the top and borderline dominatrix material!, but Harrison didn't help by complying without protest, that bit was painful to watch TBH. I suspect under normal circumstances it's fun for a group to experience something different but I do hope they can gauge how far to go in each case. Very entertaining anyway! 😁.
