The Bill they agreed to sign was reportedly over 1000 pages. The one they finally signed was 118. Democrat horn blowing not withstanding it sounds like Musk did indeed affect this vote.

Why are the democrats helping? Let Drumpf and the republicunts do what they want and expose them as the arseholes they are. In two or four years the voters will not remember the democrats saving them, they will remember things going okay and think it was the republicunts that did it.
The light will always defeat darkness at the end. Bravo to the Dems who averted the shutdown for the sake of people's livelihood. Compassion is important but Musk/Trump show no sign of that.

i’m curious are people like Johnson, attorneys? If they lose their job within the government do they go back to private practice or are they just out of a job, I’d have to look for something else to do? If they’re attorneys I can see where they would have some sort of recourse or if they were in public life maybe they did whatever they did to, Getting finances for their coffers to survive their particular lifestyle, I’m just curious about that, because it just seems like such a tenuous thing
