COOL !! NOKIA!! 🙂
43:07 "Kick him in the 🥜!" Cassie, you made my day!
RIP Anton Yelchin (Young Checkov)
Zachary Qunito did the impossible and managed to make "Live Long and Prosper" sound exactly like "Go F*** Yourself", that's talent.
Googly eyed Cassie, "He's very handsome…" 😍
🤣
this in not the the enterpirse a cassie, if you look of the back off the ship at @18:58, this is the pre enterprise, the a is the next ship.
You checking that you gave the Vulcan salute correctly made my day, too!
Cassie, you have been granted the status of a full on Trekkie and an expert fan of Star Trek. You are invited to a Star Trek convention near you. I admire your Logical plan of viewing the series in order. That was indeed the best way to watch them. In a way you have time traveled fast forward. I was only 10 when the first episode came out and have followed all of them like you. Unfortunately I had no time machine and the years piled up at the normal liner time rate. I am now 66. If you know how to send me back in time…I will pick about 46 years back. 20 was a great age for me. In the mean time I will keep watching your channel. I am a big fan of yours. 😉❤🖖
Here she comes to wreck the dayyyy!!
As I walked out of the theater I was angry that they didn't "fix" the timeline, because they always fix it in episodic television. But by the time I got to my car I realized how brilliant it was because they could do whatever they wanted without having to make it fit into established cannon. I wasn't expecting to like this movie but it became one of my favorites!
Spock and Uhura never were a thing in the prime timeline, but Star Trek V suggested that Uhura and Scotty became a thing!…😂😅😊
I have very mixed feelings about this movie. On the positive side of things, the casting of the crew is absolutely PERFECT, and they all have really good chemistry with each other. I also really like a lot of the humor, and some of the action setpieces were really fun. On the other hand, I think the plot was pretty boring and ridiculously contrived. There were just too many huge coincidences that happened soley for the plot to work. I also feel that the villain was very one-note and not very interesting, and his dialogue was very badly written and overly expositional. I'd probably rate it like a 6.5/10, not amazing but not horrible.
I still consider this movie & Star Trek Beyond to be my top 2 most favorite Star Trek films of all time (it's a toss-up which of the 2 I love more). It may shock some fans to know Wrath of Khan is not in my top 5 favorite Star Trek films, although I do love that film too.
The next one is actually good and even better than the first imo. My favorite out of the 3.
poor rusian actor die few yer ago in car acident 😞
god i miss Leonard Nimoy, such an exceptional actor
Best channel of 2024
Does she need to watch Hero's?
Chris Hemsworth (which was before the first "Thor" movie), should have been cast as James T. Kirk, not Chris Pine. They were both relatively unknown at the time. (Though Abrams wanted to cast Mark Wahlberg as Kirk's father, but Mark wasn't available.)
So what is the point of that scene where Sulu forgets to “release the parking break”? To make him seem incompetent? His character is supposed to be one of the most confident, skilled and talented pilots. I don’t get what purpose that scene serves.
kirk’s love is the command chair of a starship.
he’s always had his love close
Sadly, this movie is more Star Wars than Star Trek. I wished Cassie's patreons had steered her towards Deep Space 9 and Voyager so she can fall in love with the pivotal stories of captains Benjamin Sisko and Kathryn Janeway, respectively.
I’ve been waiting for this one. I had a feeling you would really enjoy it.
You missed a lot from this movie because you've only watched four original series episodes.
"that's Chris 'freaking' Hemsworth", that was funny 😂
The future has changed! Original story Kirk dad die old age! – Always cheat the dead Kirk!
Please react to “ A MAN CALLED OTTO “ 🙏❤️
You might recognize the bones. He was in Lord of the rings. He played the head of the Rohan riders.
I had a lot of fun with this first movie. Ultimately, the changes were not really necessary and the following movies were mediocre at best. A waste.
Man, I forgot about the lens flares.
Cassie: "I always wanted to go back to Vulcan." Well…..
Yeah the plot doesn't stand up to any scrutiny. Cassie realised this straight away – nice one
Your ship is compromised, too close to the singularity to survive without assistance, which we are willing to provide
There is another Star Trek feature film in the works looks like it will be ready by hopefully 2026 just in time for Star Treks 60th birthday. It is hard to believe this series is that old it was my favorite program when it first came out in 1966. I have been a fan ever since except for the Star Trek Discovery series.
You've run out of good star trek films 😔
As an old ST fan, I thought they did a great job in general with this reboot. One thing that irritates me, though is the lame contrived "reason" for McCoy's nick name "Bones" He was called Bones, because an old military slang term for a doctor or surgeon was "Sawbones" based on how they used saws to do lots of amputations before antibiotics and sophisticated surgery.
Okay – okay! LOL! The Pesci meme was priceless!
One of my favourite movies
It's nice to hear that you have a crush on a handsome bald dude, Cassie.. See… Pretty blonde chicks can have a thing for special bald guys. Never give up Baldies.
BTW if you like the original series and this movie, I think you would really enjoy the new Star Trek TV Show "Strange Worlds" It's all about the enterprise before Kirk when Captain Pike was the captain.
Love Cassie and Carly reaction videos they are awesome and the podcast is amazing
This is a totally different timeline called the Kelvin Timeline. Not necessarily everything happened to the Kirk you saw in the original series.
One of the best openings to a movie ever! ✨️
What? You've never seen Heroes? Save the cheerleader, save the world!
It's funny, you need to watch the original crew and stories to get to know them, then watch this Star Trek and forget everything you thought you knew… Although I like this new crew, I will always be a fan of the original!
