Naru, a skilled female warrior, fights to protect her tribe against one of the first highly-evolved Predators to land on Earth. In this video, we compare the two creatures from the first movie to the latest. I hope you enjoy the review.

So basically the movie turned out to be another episode of "How to Catch a Predator"
He cant be the first predator on earth, since City Hunter had a Triceratops trophy
Like it how he never compares it to the original, just keeps on talking about the the new predator
They are both hideous.
๐. I liked the new design. I think of the Yautja difference like humans. We humans have vastly different appearance based on what part of the world we are from. Humans from Central Africa look different than humans from Asia. Humans from Northern Europe have a different appearance than those from South America.
I think what makes the Predator in PREY more interesting is the time in which he came to earth, where there was basically no sign of Technology
1987 was better
This new Predator doesnt give me a fear as first and second Predator .
I love the original. Looks bad ass
From classic physique bodybuilder to mass monster to fitness athlete ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐. Then & Now
I think it was meant that this was the Feral's first time on earth, not yautja in general
Good video dude
The net like armor is actually the hair design of the Predator which is why the Feral Predator doesn't have it. Sorry I am a nerd.
The old predator face and mask was better, they ruined the new mask ..
He's from a different clan of the predators. His name is called feral. Am unsure which clan he's apart. But if you pay attention, He's style is close range and melee and i dont think hes a young blood. He wanted to hunt bigger and better prey, so he could possible have higher bragging rights. Cos young bloods hunt in a pack of 3s with a leader. Soo what he was doing there is kinda confusing to me. But a great way to try and link movies
Feral Predator from Prey felt like it was a Young Blood. The Jungle Predator from Predator seemed like a train killer.
I honestly disagree with your statement saying this movie erases the avp timeline.
Unlike Superman and Batman for example who have jurisdictions and only save Gotham or Brooklyn and the u.s., the predators went to different places on earth and had no set jurisdiction they just cared for the hunt no matter where it is. First avp movie shows how they visited Aztec civilization, and despite aztec people being warriors and starting wars to conquer within Mesoamรฉrica, aztec people were not blood thirsty like a predator, hence why they were conquered by predators and used as sacrifice for alien incubation(mirrors how Spain conquered)
When I saw prey I started to desire more predator movies that will take place in other countries with warriors like for example Africa, china/Japan, Europe, and make the predators evolve and learn about weaponry to keep as trophies and hunt strategy used by humans. So while prey takes place in the early soil of the United States, at the same time or even earlier in time more predators from different clans could have visited other human civilizations.
you have not mention the most important diff between the original and the new pred and that is the new one is the stupidest predator we have seen in all of the pred movies.
The original Predator was 7'2 and the Feral Predator was 6'9
Remember if the 87 Predator doesn't kill you yet: He's probably trying to find you
If the new predator doesn't kill you yet:He's probably planning a cool way to do it.
The new predator sucks ass compared to the old one.
Tg they retcon the AvP storyline
so theyre like mandos in their warrior castes
Chain net was also in avp
Fake Comanche. Fake American. British production. British-Chinese "actress". Trollfarm supported on social media. Supposed "parents" run a fake "casting agency" funded by communist governments and it goes on from there, so it's impossible to take this british fraud seriously. How many times do REAL American people have to say it??!! British government trollfarm comments don't count!! This is why this is unknown and unwatched in America!! It's unreal propatainment played by "actors" with false identities propagating a fake revisionist fantasy of America that wasn't and could never be!!

Yet another great "real vs fake"
I wish all the Predator movies since the 1st one, including the Feral in Prey would retain a subtle design which seem to have been de-emphasized/ignored/missed. For the OG predator, the tips of the top 2 mandibles overlaps on the bottom 2 at an angle, and they tap on the bottom 2 to create the tapping/clicking sound which seems to be part of the Yautja's language (or at least a way of communication). The top & bottom mandibles of the Feral simply lay out vertical/parallel to each other, which do not suggest any tapping/clicking… maybe that's why they are "feral" since they are not well built for "communication". ๐
The original one still looks and acts better. You can see that is alien, smart and well trained! The new version looks more like a predalien almost! I do not like it that much…
The Feral Predator is a kid (Teenager) dropeped by his dad on a journey to prove himself HEHEHE ๐thank me later Watch ๐ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfsFV7VGBzI
My theory is it's biomass is made by the River Ghost's skull that are on the game planet that Mr. Black and the other bad Bloods were hunting on which would make the Feral Predator a bad blood as well
Differences??? Predator was amazing and Prey Sucked… the end…
The Predators may have visited Earth before this, but remember. They called this "The First Hunt"
I love how this predator is not that strong and experience, this is the first movie in my opinion where humans can at least keep up with him.But how he doesn't have cannons where in AVP in ancient times they still have cannons.
Pocahontas vs Predator
I have a big problem with ferals design. It you can't explain it away as him being "feral". His mandibles don't cover his mouth. Which means he shouldn't be able to click, his mouth is always agap and exposed, meaning he'd dehydrate fast. Try running with an open mouth all day. You'll dry your mouth out. The mandibles are supposed to act like human lips, covering the mouth, keeping it moist, and obviously the teeth of the mandibles are meant to be tapped against one another to communicate. They keep ruining that design and feature which made it so alien, to try and make it "scary" but it just looks like silly. The feral straight up is living to the joke of vagina mouth with the whole mouth exposed.
Iโd like to see them make a โpreyโ movie based in feudal Japan. Imagine a predator hunting samurai warriors
The hair doesnt have ornaments
Not sure why people are saying the new predator isn't 'OP' as the others. He fought against tribes people with sticks and drunk frenchman. He used camo 99% of the time, even against animals. Had an aimbot. Had nukes. Had a bulletproof shield and mask. All other kinds of weapons that instant killed including the net. He got hit so many times but it didn't effect him one bit compared to to other predators. For the time period he is the most OP predator to appear so far.
if it bleeds we can kill it
Predator vs the bear was awesome
Hmm do the "engineers" and predators live in the same universe?
