It turns out the detachment isn’t that bad once you have a deep think about it…well maybe. Enjoy!

  1. Its an impressive amount of move blocking, but on the 50% chance you go first, there's still too much that can go wrong. With enough flying units, strategic reserves, or deep strike, most of the move blocks will be circumvented turn 2, and its pretty likely that Aeldari played this aggressively will be tabled or crippled by Turn 3, in which your opponent will probably match or beat you in points if all 5 turns are considered.

  2. Hello, correct me if I'm wrong. But the "Vectored Engines" stratagem does not work correctly, because you use it in the movement phase, and in its effects it is written that you can shoot, but only until the end of the phase, that is, the movement phase.

  3. Is a big unit of Dire Avengers with Asurmen workable here? Looking for a way to run them and Eldrad with a full squad of Warlocks in a list. My local store has a lot of very competitive players so it's difficult to try running something a little fluffier 😂.

  4. Starting off the video with "-2 to charge is a dud" has left me…wondering. I think it's the best strat in the detachment!

Charge rolls are the most impactful role on any given turn. They are usually the difference between keeping your resource alive, getting the enemy into an objective, and getting the enemy into your backline. Being able to turn a make able charge into a failable charge is one of the most impactful things you can do. Why do you think it's so bad?? If the opponent changes, and fails, they're
    1) in the open
    2) you're alive

Those are two very good things.

  5. It's a nice detachment rule and it will probably be better when working with the new codex but it's a bit meh just now. Cloudstrike makes me think that the falcon will lose deep strike.

  6. Not sure this is legal, but imagine the lolz having Guileful Strategist on a character and bringing Prince Yriel along to redeploy up to 6 units. By no means viable, but the reaction alone might be worth it for fun.

  7. The detachment ability is garbage. The enhancements are garbage. The strats are garbage. This may be the last straw for my 30 years of 40k. GW's constant shitting on eldar has finally gotten to me, the ridiculous OPness when a new edition comes out to sell models and then the never-ending punitive nerfs and unfair treatment thereafter has become too much for me. The Amazon thing has me worried. Will I sell my huge collection? I just do not know, I'm not going to do anything hasty. What I am going to do is buy into Trench Crusade and begin the long process of forgetting about 40k and GWs ruthless mercenary horseshit. Two freaking warlocks costs 60 dollars and they screw my army every chance they get, completely unused units get no points decreases ever, not ever. Regardless of the special ability, there is a marine unit that has it. There is absolutely no universe where a T4 2W 3+save unit and a T3 1W 4+save unit with similar firepower should cost roughly the same points. There was no reason in hell to nerf all eldar vehicle movement by 2" for 10th ed. There are no physics extant that could possibly allow ground bikes and jetbikes to move across the table at similar speeds, advances etc notwithstanding. But I digress, Games Workshop is a joke and people are going to start seeing it. The entire game is held aloft by elite players who have access to every army fully painted because they either trade them regularly on ebay as the meta changes or they are on a store team that has an in-house army for every faction. Regular people, regular fans and players, the actual customer base are getting screwed harder every year, in the game and in the store. People who dedicate their collection and their time to a single faction or race suffer the most. We have been in denial for decades because we love the IP but eventually we must admit GW are just horrible people.
