  1. What a great time you all had. Matthewsons have a much larger setup these days in Pickering where the auctions actually now take place. Unfortunately no longer open to the public on auction days since covid and due to the large volume of people who used to attend. However viewings of cars beforehand can be arranged and of course the auctions are all shown live online.

  2. Great video as always. The museum is not just closed for winter, it’s closed full stop now. We were lucky enough to go round when we went there a few years ago. We live not far from Thornton. 😊

  3. We had a great few days in Yorkshire and we saw some beautiful places. The Mini was 2005 (55 plate). The meal we had in the Crown and Cushion was the best we’ve had for a good while. Glad you got back home safely. Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄 and we’ll see you in January for some serious 2025 planning and booking 😉👍🏻🚐🚐💙 Trev n Sue

  4. Hi Bob and Jenny it looks like you all had a wonderful time and looks a lovely area my brother lives a bit further north of where you are near saltburn great to see lots of independent shops and lovely window displays!
It’s a shame Mathewsons isn’t open like it used to be but they used to have a nice museum it’s all changed since Covid I believe
Have always wanted to visit Eden camp and Herriot country and that’s on a future list for my brothers house! It looks like you all had an amazing time and highlight for me would be meeting Derek Mathewson he’s meant to a a nice guy all the best to you all
For Christmas and the new year Daniel

  5. We stayed in the CL you visited. Very handy site. We didn’t have any problem getting our 7.5m van in there. We didn’t have a car though. There is a dog walk a bit further up the road too. We had a lovely breakfast in the cafe you went to as well.

  6. Looks like you had a lovely time – not too far from us but haven’t visited in years, remember going to Castle Howard when I was younger with my mum and dad! Must visit at some point, enjoyed watching. What a great end on the Alice in Wonderland trip too! All the vest, David & Rachel 👍
