The death of a 16-year-old boy whose body was found on the side of the road is being investigated as a possible homicide, deputies said.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that it’s investigating a possible homicide after the teen’s body as found on the side of Whitehouse Drive in Lincolnton. Whitehouse Drive is located just off the U.S. 321 Business Route near Horseshoe Lake Road, north of downtown Lincolnton.
