What is up, on the steam page there is a "Heat Death: Survival Train Demo" but the game available to buy is called "Heat Death: Exodus". They mess up the steam page or did they change the name of the game?
for data log to get into locked area, there is a door up on the 2nd floor that lead to the roof. Climb to top of tower and jump onto roof to access it.

The Datalog for the Lab is a Riddle and you find it when jumping from the Comms tower atop the Lab.
Data log may be back between station 3 and the tunnel. Before you fought the first drones there is a lake to the left with some crates on the ice. There is a log there talking about thier stash. There is a cave at the far end of the lake where the stash is. Not sure if that's the right data log, but i do know it's one you missed.

YAAAAY. 😀 I WAS PLAYING THIS GAME BEFORE YOU WERE PARTIALLY ROYAL. :0 I PLAYED THE SUPER EARLY MINI DEMO A FEW MONTHS AGO. XD I'm super excited it's got such huge update for EA now.
Great to see you playing this, too! It might be more convenient to put the engine screen at the front of the train so you don't have to keep running back and fro whenever you wanna start, stop or slow down the train.
What you actually need to do is put both of those controllers at the front of the train because the controller that you got at the engine is what leaves the train so it's better if it's at the front
