  1. This Raiders game is not an important game for just Kirk Cousins to play better. But an important game for the entire Falcons team to play better. There has been times when the defense looks good but then they look bad, the pass rush comes alive but then the secondary messes up. The run game is working on offense but the pass game is bad. The pass game is working but the run game is bad. Young Way Koo missing field goals, but then he's making a 58 yarder. Special teams stop the trick plays but then fumble the ball. This is a game where the Falcons could potentially have one of their first complete games and at this juncture this team needs it. It's bigger than just Kirk Cousins.

  2. Do not listen to Vikings Media/Fans (I am a Vikings fan) Vikings Media/Fans are the lowest IQ in NFL they have no clue on how football works. ALL QBs have bad streaks not just Kirk. Kirk has ONLY had 2 4 int games in his career meanwhile Peyton had 6 Rivers 3 Drew 3 Tom 6 look at 3 interception games Kirk has had 8 Drew 18 Peyton 20 Rivers 13 Ryan 14 Tom 9 – all QBs have bad games ONLY Kirk is expected to never play bad. Goff and Ryan and others have had 5 int games. Look at Allen multiple int games including games lost on last pass on int. Kirk is actually averaging 1 int over this streak because 3 of the 4 ints including the pick 6 according to Kurt Warner were ON THE RECEIVERS they made the mistakes NOT Kirk. Do some research folks!

  3. Kirk is doubl clutching because he sees receivers ran the wrong route or cut the route short or made some other mistake he releases the ball based on what the receiver is doing he double clutches when the receiver is screwing up.

  4. Hoping ridder capitalizes on our crappy coaching staff and gets them all fired. Iโ€™ve seen enough to know Raheem ainโ€™t it. We can go on with another 3 consecutive losing seasons or we can fire him and get a real coach who will make tough decisions. โ€œWe WonT Be DraFting ThIs hiGh agaIN.โ€ Yeah ok

  5. You don't play games on paper. This is the Raiders super bowl a national game Monday night, the Raiders have the most wins on Monday night. Crosby is a big problem. Cross country trip. Not good for a struggling Falcons team.

  6. I seriously don't why the Vikings say "6 years" as Kirk didn't play for a full season in 2023. The Vikings media were also quick to group Kirk's entire tenure in Minnesota all together like he had the same coach for that entire time which he did not. Zimmer created a toxic environment, openly disliked his quarterback and was fired. Once Kirk got a great coach in O'Connell in 2022, things were far different. Everyone in the media wanted to call the 2022 season "fraudulent" but it's clear with how the 2024 Vikings season has gone that is not the case.

In 2022, Kirk was 3-1 in November and 3-1 in December. In 2023, Kirk was 4-1 in October. The lulls have been more that the entire did not play well more than just Kirk. The same goes for 2024.

  7. Kirk has not been inconsistent throughout his career. He has been one of the 10 most accurate passers in history and that comes through consistency game after game. Many people in Minnesota don't like him because of his salary which in the end proved to be a good deal for the Vikings. Kirk is a little off this season but I don't think it's physical. Watching the game plans for the Vikings and Kirk for 6 years you realize that most of Kirk's problems this season are due to play calling and play design. There are very few open receivers, that's play design. We almost never throw on first or even second down, that's play calling. When you don't throw until you must throw then you are asking for trouble. Those are the two biggest problems with the offense.

You talk about Kirk making his decisions too quickly but working through progressions is Kirk's super power normally and has been most of this season as well. He holds the record for most receptions for 4 different receivers which he set in 2022. He was on a pace to break that record again in 2023 when he was injured including a pace to get his tight end 114 catches. Kirk is the highest rated quarterback in the history of football when throwing to tight ends. The other biggest problem for the Falcons offense is a tight end that can't get open or from what I am seeing won't put in the effort to get open. This season even with all the Falcons problems at offensive coordinator Kirk is on a pace to again be the only quarterback in history to complete 60 passes to 4 different receivers and he may even be the first to complete 50 to 5 different receivers if Pitts can get his head out of his…..

  8. I'm sorry but I actually laughed when you said simplify things for Kirk. Minnesota has one of the most complicated offenses I have ever seen and he put up MVP numbers. The problem is that the offense is too simple and too predictable.

  9. On top of Kirk spreading the ball around better than any quarterback in the league this year and NFL history in general the Falcons are also the only team in the league to have two receivers on a 1,000 yard pace.

  10. Penix has had a lot of ups and downs in his career. He's mature enough to handle situations, like throwing multiple interceptions or losses. He's a very smart and confident player! ๐Ÿ˜„
