  1. I get you guys are emotional rather than rational, but you seem to have zero understanding of how fatigued these guys are and how there are limited options regarding positions some players are playing in and how limited the rotations are.

  2. Ally , well articulated. Our fans just don't get it. A rebuild for a sustainable future is not an 18 month deal after 20 years – it does require a mix of youth to grow together and is not linear. Pain for long term gain.
The fans calling for Ange to be sacked will just be complicit in shooting the club in the foot- yet again. They never learn.

  3. Good discussion, loads of sensible points. We won’t win anything with players that only turn up when they want to, don’t put a shift in every game, get stuck in, play for the team, do the basics & use their brains! Unfortunately we have about 5 or 6 who fall into this category. Ally was bang on about Bergvall, the lad was excellent when he came on, the rest of midfielder should be embarrassed, he showed them how we should be playing!

  4. Kulu & Davies are definitely more leaders than Son & Madders. Dragusin could be a leader. Gray will definitely be a future leader. Romero is a leader but his head has been turned by Madrid. VDV could be a future leader too, unless Ange continues to ruin his hamstrings!

  5. I love this panel they say exactly as I saw the game, lack of desire, so many bad passes, it was awful , Ally should be Ange's2nd hand man ! . Forster, Bergval, Solanke were our best players , Kulu should be captain he had the passion I like to see , as for the rest they need to step up !

  6. We aren't inconsistent! we are consistently underperforming! Squad depth is not there we need more bodies so we can rotate and honeslty if we get any bids for porro get rid the guy can't defend, I would like to see him on the right wing i think he would be better

  7. Regarding Player recruitment, who has the final say on who gets signed?

I understand that the signings since Ange came om were down to him, and Levy facilitated, its his call. I do not believe that he would just accept the post with players foisted upon him , so maybe the inabilities and lack of quality of the players lie at his door?
Johan Lange who previously got sacked from Villa for rubbish recruitment at Villa and has his hands all over this – was it he who decided that our recruitment should be from Bournemouth , Burnley and Leeds
It could also be Levy , who has previous with the Jed Spence signing from a couple of years ago? regarding last night , Werner should not have been the only one called out , Bisouma, Porro equally as culpable.

the proposed demo against Levy/ENIC at the Liverpool game is the outcome of 6 bad games , no-one was slating Levy when we beat Man City, West Ham and Villa. The protest would be more relevant if their was more understanding and transparency around the recruitment of players for the now

The only negative at Spurs at the moment is the team , Levy is SO astute at running the business we have a great ground , training facilities , revenue streams to create revenue that means we CAN compete in the transfer market , Levy cannot be held accountable for player performance on a weekly basis, but inevitably will field all the blame for the failings of 3 shocking transfer window recruitment

  8. Spurs have a lot of grit. When they eventually master consistency from all of it's angles, they will find that the combination of consistency and griit is a winning formula for increasing success. I go to bed strictly and dutifully by 22:00h, with nature, so I was delighted, upon awakening, to observe the gritty equalizer obtained by Spurs, as they keep abreast of the festive season.

  9. Never has a club been so intensively analysed, it seems like almost every game now is followed by a post-mortem of a suspicious death by top forensic footie consultants.
Angeball doesn't work consistently because we do not have enough of the type of player he needs-always fit, immune to injury/exhaustion and with an unshakable "Charge of the Light brigade" mentality. With so little in reserve as we lose player after player to injury,, the nature of his painfully limited tactic means that we will lose more in the future as we rush back to fill the gaps left by yet another rebuffed attack-it's been like this right from the start and I pointed it out then but everyone was on the Ange train-so when we get a few faces back their numbers on the injured list will be replenished on a rolling basis.
VdV's hamstrings are always going to cause problems and it is criminal that AP's (always close to calamitous) system only works when VBdV is fully fit-again, it has been this way from the start, nothing has changed at all, we are just running out of players and too many of the ones we have are simply not up to playing in this way-the high attrition rate must be an ever-present cloud.
Don't know how to fix it but Levy's stewardship of the club is the root of the chronic malaise which hangs over this club.

  10. Ange destroyed a stronger Rangers with a Celtic team with arguably weaker players than Spurs. Think the injuries dont help but doesn't bode well that you can't beat the worst Rangers team in a decade.
