Putin's talk about the danger of NATO expansion through Ukraine is completely meaningless, because NATO is already in the Baltic states, i.e. even closer to Moscow than through Ukraine. Putin wants to restore the former territory of the Soviet Union, considers Ukraine (and Georgia) as his property. This is the reason for the war in Ukraine, not the fear of NATO – this is complete nonsense. Putin miscalculated because he thought it would go as smoothly as it did with Crimea, but now he cannot get out of this mess, especially after all the Russian victims – the domestic public would judge him as a loser and remove him. On the other hand, it is true that the intention of the USA (CIA) is to destabilize Russia, to cause a public revolt and the overthrow of the regime, which would then lead to the disintegration of Russia. The USA would then use its proxies to appropriate the enormous natural resources of Russia. And THIS is the USA's ultimate goal. DIVIDE ET IMPERA – this is the guiding principle of American imperialism, also evident in other global crisis hotspots, for example the Middle East. The USA wants to break powerful countries, especially its opponents, into proto-factors, because that way it is easier to control and exploit them and their resources. I am also firmly convinced that the USA (CIA) is behind BREXIT and is also fomenting disagreements in the EU. In short – the USA is the cancer of today's world.

Poor analysis – yes, Ukrainians appear to be in favour of a negotiated peace – but drill down one single level, and that's only IF the Russians hand over their captured territory. To ignore that is shameful, Times Radio.
You can’t fight Russian imperialism with western imperialism.
The imperialists in all countries involved have contrasting interests to the majority of their domestic populations – for an example, see what’s unfolding in the US and soon to impact the UK.
In fact, the only lesson that can be concluded from this disaster is that we are absolute suckers for our own propaganda, and that all sides have leant absolutely nothing from (even recent) history.
