Yes. They did have actual electromechanical sirens on their cars because they didn't have speakers. Even in the olden days when they didn't have motors, they would use hand crank ones on firetruck. And before the siren, they used the bell.

You've just displayed exactly why I don't turn traffic on in free roam. It's a little too realistic how stupid they are, if you ask me, and I get enough of that frustration on IRL roads.

The button on the ground for the lights is for your high beams irl, yes they mounted sirens on the front bumper, some of the older sirens they had to whined them up before they got in the vehicle. I'm only 30 but absolutely love older vehicles

Would be so cool with taxi 🚕 routes, or possibly to pick snowmen or packages on the go in freeroom. Like get a (Job) SMS/message UI to pick out route to pick up.
Would also be possible to use, for the police, like select a job, police, taxi, ems. And somewhere on the map, a crashsite(police ems) (Taxi snowman) FedEx-van driver package will spawn in😮🤩
But it will probably never happen, with the LOW interest devs already giving to the bus routes with all the bugs, and NO customizing to make routes, or play a bus driver on the go in freeroom 😢
