It was a drydock facility, ships pulled into the swamp, those tunnels drained the swamp with a pump they call the money pit, it was a pump not a money pit.ships back then needed bottoms cleaned and repaired

They had that coffer dam made of steel, found the U shaped structure which was the depositor's original dam when they built the darned flood tunnels, why didn't they trace it then?????? Now they will have to dam it up again and block the tunnel, if the A-frame entrance they found that time was indeed one of the flood tunnel entrance!!!! Sheesh!!!! So poorly planned, when the original engineering was so much better than this rampant, random digging by our 21st century yahoos LMAO
What if bringing in this water thrue these french box drains was simply to softer the dirt so the could dig easier moving mud and heating the water would make it a year round worksite and even fish for food

Been looking for over 200 years with the last 12 years televised, why bury a treasure so deep it cant be retrieved even by the ones who allegedly buried it there and all they are finding are the remains from previous digs, thats equivalent to Rick and Marty burying their paychecks 50 feet in a hole never to be seen again. The only mother load the brothers discovered was the million dollar contract they signed with the History Channel.
