The enemy sounds like a dwarf, and for some reason, I get a feeling it, maybe even a Engineer rival of Gotrek from his life before the oath, possibly even his marriage.
Gotrek having a dwarf friend turned arch enemy living in Magritta as rich and succesful dwarf would be dope story.
I also wonder when exactly Felix started to make these notes? Most likely after Albion, since he promised himself to write the books during this adventure.
It would be funny if Otto, or even Gustav, was secretly hunting down all these notes in order to follow Felix’s life, Altdorf, Crown of the Empire, confirmed that Gustav always looks forward to Felix’s visits, and is angry because he thinks Felix is wasting his life in potential, which is understandable for a father.
If he also published them, it would explain why Gotrek and Felix were already famous in the Warhawk, Genevieve novel, to the point Detlef Sierck was asked to make a play about Gotrek.
I gotta admit, its a far better Gotrek and Felix novel than I expected,
