The trial of Jamie Komoroski was scheduled to begin this week for the 2023 drunk driving death of bride Sam Miller in South Carolina. Komoroski left Miller’s new husband and two other men seriously injured. Sam Miller’s loved ones spoke tearfully about their loss as the judge handed down the maximum sentence. Her mother is disgusting and never cared about her daughter only money
The mom is awful. Her whole statement for her daughter was about herself.
I got rear ended by a drunk driver once. He hit me hard and caused me to suffer whiplash. His excuse to the officer was he got tired of waiting for an Uber. He wasn't apologetic, nor was he accountable. When the DA called me for a deposition, I went pretty strong on him. That accident could have been a lot worse.

What I don't get is her family and friends knew she was addicted to alcohol they could have put a device in her car which turns your car off if you go one bit past speed limit or why didn't anyone take her car and licence from her and taken her to a place that would help her with her addiction before this tragedy.or even found someone to drive for her to work etc.or take bus or cab.or put her in a place where alcoholics get treatment for thier addiction my heart goes to everyone who knew and loved Samantha they will suffer loss and pain for the rest of thier lives had Jamie got help or had the ability to think of the consequences of what she was about to do she would never have gotten into the car such a horrible tradgey an innocent life that had the right to have a long happy bright future was taken in the blink of an eye it's so cruel
Im ashamed to say but when i got a dui, my father told me son what if you wouldve killed or injured someone else and that scared me to death

Mandatory jail and rehab. At least 15 years so she at least serves 10 min. Previous judges didn't do her any favors. Go carts should not be street legal. Someone needs to look at that. 😮😮😢😢 So sorry for this family's loss.

I dont think she deserves the sentence, but TBH there are cases of men brutally, intentionaly murdering women and getting 15-20 years. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?
