  1. Ok so, maybe a very far winded theory here but this kinda got me thinking. So back in Cold War, Samantha sacrifices herself and seals herself and the forsaken into the dark aether. Which itself was captured in that Sophia~esc ball computer thing that was helicopter lifted out at the end cutscene. And that we know was made into the massive S.A.M computer machine that we see in the intro cutscene to liberty Falls. Now here’s the theory, what if Sam found a way to travel to the old aether story locations using the dark aether and her powers from the dark aether corrupting her. Now it’s possible she could have been looking for someone to help her find a way back out of the aether dimension. Someone that has a lot of knowledge on interdimensional travel, someone that has done it a lot, someone whose blood could be harnessed to open portals to travel through space and time and dimensions. We’re talking about blood of the dead Richthofen. Maybe one of her new aether powers is to revive people or places. And Richthofen after being revived and set free agrees to help Sam escape from the dark aether, and he agrees because one, he’s alive again, and two, he’s pissed off that we abandoned him and he’s looking for revenge. Alternatively, he knew it was going to happen. He knew he would be brought back and his and primus’ story were far from over. The Kenorium told him so. And even though he fought against it and didn’t want to let himself die he knew what had to happen. Kinda a biblical mirroring if you think about it but idk it’s just my headcanon

  2. i don’t think we know that’s how richtofen canonically got the stone bc that was just in a weird cg music video thing they did before bloods launch. pretty sure it’s just the fire staff gem anyways

  3. Idk if anyone else saw this but I’m liberty falls if your in the the church your can hear panos talking to the mysterious person and saying that he “won’t tell them, and I will get your friends back, if I ever get out of here” something like that. So maybe Panos is bringing back the primis crew

  4. Definitely and im not even invested in cod im a geologist but the reason i say definitely is because if this is infact a concrete[heh] naming convention than they named bloodstone for the sake of the reference and not the convention as bloodstone is not a precious gem, gemstone or even a basic stone at all like either opal or quartz its a category of pattern that forms in sedimentary heliotrope(heliotrope comes in hundreds of flavors) and because its a sediment compound its actually not even a stone at all its a rock(rock is many types of stone combined stone is elementally pure and crystaline) as far as geologic categories go… the amount of dissimilarities that disconnect bloodstone from opal and quartz far outweigh the amount of connections between bloodstone(which in zombie land appears to actually be a gemstone very very very unlike its real counterpart) and richtofen which in my book means this must be one of two options either A: This is named after richtofen's bloodstone directly because it will have a tie in moment on the dlc or… B: activision gets lazy with their coding relics because we're not supposed to see them and also don't employ even a single geologist or mineral enthusiast to have noticed and pointed out this categorizational equivalent of 9/11 as far as rare earth terminology standards are concerned
