Man found dead during welfare check in St. Louis County; homicide investigation underway



The death of a man whose body was found in his west St. Louis County home Tuesday is being investigated as a homicide, police said.

St. Louis County police said officers were asked shortly after 1 p.m. to check the welfare of a man who lived in the 1400 block of Cedar Bluff Drive, about a mile southwest of the intersection of Highway 141 and Big Bend Road.
