This is appalling. It is also reported that he was having convulsions in the lobby as well. Argentina has strict laws about abandoning a person during a medical crisis. I understand that he ingested drugs but there is definite reliability on behalf of the hotel. Why did they not use call EMS and monitor him in the money until EMS arrived.

Apparently , Liam and Roger were very close and intense friends and a while back they had a fall out and weren’t speaking . So people were surprised that Liam was in contact with Roger again in Argentina . The Sun said they had emails that proved that Roger was Liam’s manager but Roger refuted their claims and said they were just close friends .
It was reported by the local media that Roger had been arrested for ‘abandonment ‘ but Roger denied those claims. Roger said that he had seen Liam 3 times the day of his passing. He said he tried to pacify an agitated Liam in the lobby and tried to get Liam not to take anymore dr*gs . He said that when he left Liam , Liam was laughing and talking to 15 people . He said that he was with Liam 40 minutes before his fall. Well how could Liam have been laughing and talking to 15 people and then pass out and convulse? It doesn’t make sense!
Also If you visit your close friend 3 times in the same day and you know he’s unwell, upset and taking substances , you’d stay with him and make sure he was okay and not just leave him alone and go home! . I’m not surprised

I’ve read somewhere that CCTV shows Liam and Roger entering the hotel at 4pm with Liam carrying a bag (I bet this bag was full of drugs Roger supplied Liam with and Roger very well knew how Liam will feel and act after taking them) I’m sure that Roger was Liam’s Next of kin in Argentina. The hotel worked in favor of Rogers plan and as per his instructions.. another theory would be suppose if say the hotel staff killed him accidentally.. I don't fault the hotel for removing Liam from the lobby. It's a place of business and he was out of control. If he was anyone BUT Liam, people would be aghast witnessing his behavior and demand someone deal with it. They did. The issue is that they brought him to a 3rd floor room with a balcony. What happened from there is where things are dodgy. I'm waiting for the facts to surface. Too many rumors flying and very little truth going around at the moment.

I find these comments really disturbing. Duty of care does not rest with the hotel and I sincerely hope folk would stop blaming the hotel for his death. The hotel is a business and not a care facility. Duty of care rests with the folk who abandoned Liam when he was vulnerable and shoul not have left him on his own. I think his history with substance addiction is evidence he cannot be left on his own, together with his PTSD of One Direction days. Unfortunately, Kate, his girlfriend should not have returned to Florida without Liam. She knew him best and knew his vulnerabilities. If Kate did not feel comfortable spending time alone with Liam, then professional care should have been sought while in Argentina. To cast blame on the hotel is wrong … and if I recall from news reports, they did call emergency services. By the time EMS arrived, Liam had already fallen.
