Welcome to another @TerracottaWhirl #shorts ! This video features a beautifully primed terracotta pot tinted with Caribbean blue acrylic paint. Set to the timeless tune of “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole, one of our absolute favorite songs, we take you through the essential scuffing process before applying a second coat or performing artistic whirling on our pots.
For this step, we use sanding blocks typically reserved for drywall construction, with grits of 60, 80, and 120, to create the perfect texture. This step ensures that the next layer of paint adheres beautifully, allowing for flawless artistic expression.
Stay tuned for a future video where this pot will shine to the rhythms of ska music, inspired by Vanilla Sky. Just as that iconic film with Tom Cruise pushed creative boundaries, this pot is destined to be a masterpiece of thoughtful design and sensory beauty.
We believe terracotta art, like life, is about layering love and thought into everything we create. 💜
