08/30/2021 – Over the past few days I’ve been scouring through tons of detail regarding what
we might see in the future of New World. Over 200 more pages of lore/quest dialogue, future
expedition leaks, weapons, zones, everything. And I’ve finally been able to piece together the
puzzle of what’s coming next. Or at least pieced it together as best we could, when it comes
to the New World story… There’s always some mystery to be had. But let’s dive in!

  1. Didn't even notice at first but what a great way to celebrate the 100th informative new world video. Been such a wild ride. I was also going to showcase that leak that happened
    early yesterday regarding the Blunderbuss, Daggers, and Void Gauntlet inside what appeared to be a F&F client, but it went private about 4 hours ago. Was super skeptical about
    it because normally that kind of stuff is kept under heavy NDA, but I'm glad I caught that before it was too late! Also thank you all so freaking much for 50k subs!!

  8. The amount of research and thought that goes into your educated speculation and storytelling is inspirational.
    Especially in a world where most YouTubers are just regurgitating Twitter posts for half an hour. Youkai thanks you for all of your hard work. I hope your channel continues to grow and gain recognition. New World has the potential to have some riveting lore and characters, but just hasn't quite invested in a way that catches the average player yet. I want New World to become a setting and story that is burned into the players' heart.

  13. I don't know about Rome theme for Brimstone Sands, expedition is named The Ennead, which is from Egyptian mythology, I guess it's more like Egyptian mythology theme and Romans fought there, that's why one of the bosses is Crassus.

  17. Eventually we will have to fight a main antagonist that's been spelled out by the story so far. If we kill them then that makes it so the story doesn't seem to have a purpose after they are dead. On the other hand if they are brought back multiple times, then that would seem cheap. They will have to have a larger antagonist than Isabella, at some point to drive the story forward. It's what most stories have to do, see Marvel franchise, and the largest offender Dragonball Z. I also think it would be cool to have multiple antagonists fighting us and eachother in the storyline to rule over Aeturnum. The corrupted, vs the ancients, vs the angry earth.

  20. Has anything been said about the ability to have an alternate character on the same server? I want to play with a buddy, but he has a lot less free time than I do. I want to avoid outpacing him in leveling and ruining his experience by smashing mobs fir him when we play together.

  23. Is anything known about our character's relationship with Captain Thorpe from before he became corrupted? I only know that he was our Captain, and based on the intro I got the impression that we might've been his right-hand man or at least close to peers.
