New Orleans community hoping to find escaped rescue dog before Thanksgiving



Scrim the rescue dog has become a familiar sight to some in New Orleans, as his face has been plastered on missing posters more than once. The well-known rescue dog has escaped once again, but recent sightings give people hope he’ll be home again soon. Kati Weis has the story.

  1. Poor baby! Humans are so cruel. Takes sometimes years to teach abused and neglected animals to love & trust. Praying for this lil guys safety! He could be badly injured from that fall/escape! 😢🐾🙏

  2. He is definitely a Wire Fox Terrier mix. I had 2 WFTs in my life, and, they are NUTS, lol! They are fun and loyal, most fearless and tenacious. And, their capabilities in the field are awesome to behold. It is a shame that he went through so much pain in his life; I hope he is found, and, he finds love, and, eventually trusts his new master.

  3. I understand you. My beloved rescue Mushu, is still having a hard time adapting to his new home. He has nightmares and when I take him for walks, he wants to run away. They just need to trust humans again. Hope you find your doggie.
