A good show that only had one season
The name of the TV Series is called Terra Nova.
Doesn't make sense if you can time travel to go back to dinosaur era before they were all wiped out..
Hold on the earth is screwed eco wise so the solution is to go back in time 85 million years. Maybe sign the Paris accord 😅

Terra Nova is an absolute banger. So very sad it got canceled because it's unironically some of the best TV I've ever seen. Not the best writing or best acting, but it does phenomenal world building and has that cozy tropical charm whil also having the constant danger of dinosaurs

I love this show, but they cancelled it.
I don't know if the series was any good, but it seems like it was a very ambitious production. Like, a series this CGI heavy, shooting on location with some pretty big sets is kinda crazy for 2011. No wonder it only lasted one season.

Pissed me off so much when this show was cancelled.
The US movie formula: jump from one drama into another.
Aside from the usual TV drama stuff, I quite liked the premise, but was disappointed with its conclusion.
You know what I got from this? The simple fact that we did not learn a damn thing. We use technology to go back in time and the first thing we do is start fighting amongst ourselves.
So they can time travel and they choose a time that they know had large predators and then a mass extinction event. Okay.

Sounds like a logistical nightmare. If you had a portal back to a certain time, it would be flooded with too many people coming out on the other side. One year could pass in the future before someone else steps in, and they would be placed in the same exact point as someone who went through 1 year ago

Why did they go back 85 millions years? Why not send some technology back 200 years and stop the problem? I feel like going back 85M years would cause more problems unless they believe that the timeline would then have a different tangent and not affect the timeline they came from. Glad I don't have to waste my time watching this.
So she's a medic, but can also produce a vaccine for an unknown brain disease linked to Alzheimer, work with DNA sequencing and, of course, perform a paleontological analisys on a scheleton? SHE'S A GENIUS
