More than 200 Officer Cadets have commissioned as Army officers at the Sovereign’s Parade at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
In a break with tradition, the parade took place early in the morning to avoid the heatwave impacting the cadets.

I'm Japanese, but I respect the British Royal Guard.
Quite an ironic combination, passing out without passing out!
????
My son was in the parade today. I'm a very proud mum!
How come the Army Grads never seem to have cadets with medals/Commando Dagger/Para Wings?
Have they given up on Commissioning from the ranks?
I've seen this so much guys get in there and they lock their knees you can almost count the seconds before they start getting wobbly.
We had a parade that had open bayonets let me tell you people were watching each other real close.
I appreciate Pakistan is part of the Commonwealth, but they are a de facto enemy at worse and an untrustworthy friend at best so I’d be pretty annoyed if I had to salute their chief of staff and who thought it was appropriate having him staged in the Queen in the first place. – gross error of judgement and should be sacked
Well done…!
Outstanding
The last 3 years 3 Ukrainians came top of the class in the foreign intake but sadly this year was impossible because of the war . All 3 of them were awarded swords to take home.
Passing out is a bit of an unfortunate phrase in these temperatures 😬
Amazing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It was 40 years ago on the 6th August that my sovereign’s parade took place; still a day you look at with great pride.
All of the better lads and lasses joined the RAF
Will these foreign students serve in the British army as well?
Respect
love from Pakistan
Love💕💕 from pakistan🇵🇰
That Lebanon recruit
Waffling on about women.
Women are ok as long as they keep their gob shut on parade!
The best feeling ever when we marched up into Old College in December 1985 😃
I love hearing about international partners being trained here in the UK. 👍
Go go on lads
One day after college I will be there on parade
Lovely nearly all the diversity boxes ticked.
Passing out? Where was that?
Daniella rayesss men 7ebikk ktir ktir ❤️🇱🇧
Hmmm – tradition is that the Officer Cadet is commissioned as they enter the doors at the top of the stairs so the officers interviewed aren’t ‘Officer Cadets’ surely?
I am a Royal Air Force veteran. I would like to see an equivalent video made of RAF Cranwell. That should bring back fond (and perhaps not so fond 😂) memories. Additionally, videos highlighting aspects of the Officer Cadets in training would be a informative for the general public, I believe.
