The Drums of War sound once again for Azeroth as Blizzard releases FRESH Classic WoW Anniversary Realms on Nov 21th.
These realms will have minimal changes compared to the 2019 release of Classic and will aim to give you that old school WoW feel.
One of the biggest choices that you will make on your WoW journey is of course your class.
Today i’ll be talking over a few points for each of WoW Classic’s 9 classes, so you can decide what to lock in when Fresh releases.

Who would even play this again … like this game brings nothing new compared with original classic. It's waste of time. I would rather play season of discovery then this. Why would anyone trust Blizzard, to invest once again their time into this … for what … another wow token later in line? No thanks.
New hardcore is so stupid. Hardcore is always fresh, because people die. I hate that Blizzard is splitting the community into two.
What profession should I pick for mage
I have to disagree with a couple points:
1: Ele shaman is THE strongest pvp spec for AB and WSG teamfights, and should be 5*
2: Hunters are definitely 5* for PvP since they are the best AV teamfighter, the best flag defender in AB, and only lose in 1v1 to troll shadowpriest and a soul link warlock, which is a niche duel spec.
3: Mages are definitely strong in pvp, but they are not the best overall pvp class.

While a lot of this is good info, there are some missed points. You talk about how the warrior is the best in the game but their dps doesnt actually take off until AQ40 2.5 set. Rogues are the best DPS until naxx

Lock is 5 star pvp even in bgs, you just need to be very good and play destro, you will carry most bgs. I understand lock feels weaker to someone who doesnt really know pvp. Get some glad hands on lock and its ez 5 star trust me
Dual specc? Will there be a dual specc?
TPS on feral druid is absolutely unequivocally the top in classic. If you plug in top warrior tank parses and top feral tank parses in 2019 classic its easy to see that is the case.. Now the average warrior vs average feral druid tank is a different story 😂
If you don't pick warrior, you've not only griefed yourself but anyone you play with.
For someone who is new to WOW classic and has never played it before, what class would you guys recommend, and does it matter if I choose Horde or Alliance? (Likely will be playing solo too).
Those minor tweaks do not change the fact that enh spriest boomie ele ret wont be invited for raids just because someone can in bad warrior who will do better then best od the worst classes

Paladins do have a taunt. If your blessing of protection, the person who is being attacked by mobs, they will go to the next highest person. It’s not an intuitive taunt, but theoretically a hunter could pull for you. You bop the hunter after you drop concentration. Pretty effective for five man’s.

Where is vanilla plus?
I'm going to do a serious question and I hope someone can answer me. Many WoW players and veterans says the Human is the best race for Warrior on PVE servers because the skill plus with Swords and Maces, but when I was looking some Arms Warrior builds it seems on the Talent three everybody pick the one that buff Axes, so if everybody are going to use an Axe late game then the Human advantage will be useless?
Besides the Warrior is the best tank on Classic, isn't better to pick a Dwarf that gives you frost resistance and the the ability to have 10% more armor? Or even the Gnome with Escape Artist and Arcane resistance?
Should I make a Priest or Warlock?
I get emotional when i watch videos on WoW classic reminds me of a simple time the good ole days.
So to just try classic and enjoy the lvling its good to take priest, paly or hunter?
I already cleared everything I wanted to last time, so this time I'm just going to try and have some fun making Prot and Ret Paladin work

There is the mistake. If a video glosses over a classes leveling life as, not the fastest…. Skip it.
That's not what makes wow classic fun
The biggest negative for Paladin tanking is mana and having to drink after any pull where someone grabs an extra mob or pulls threat.
