The final countdown to flight test 6 is on right now. We do have a 24 hour delay announced just last night so we are now looking at Tuesday 4pm local, not Monday. Will Starship Make It Through? Indeed this Starship’s Boldest Test Yet with reentry! Yep, I am so excited and we are obviously diving into these monsters arriving at SpaceX’s launch site today. On top of that they are not slowing down with those Falcon 9 launches either. Yet another frenzy setting one new record, and many more remain to be broken. Indeed, we have a lot more to cover than you may expect!

Apollo's 1st stage (F-1) use kerosene and the 2nd and 3rd used hydrogen.
Marcus House is SO much better than WAI. So much more informative, nicer to listen to with less gimmicks and about 400% less advertising.
Thank you for all your work!
if can land pin point acurate grabbing is easy. now we can refuel and stuff satellites in faste and more…what that help for mars LOL
Beautiful. Simply amazing.
Like Elon said. "It's ridiculous that it takes longer to get through the paperwork than to build the ship." Anyone notice how they don't want second stages shown at the request of the "customer" 🧐 customer….
Marcus ,keep those imperial measures coming, just love those measures, lbs, feet, inches, miles, etc
You cannot break through the firmament. God is a genius. Closed system folks. And your round globe dont fit Gods plan
wow a 4.5 megawatt-hour motor? thats nuts
Oh you used an Anonymous logo to symbolize nefarious acts for your sponsor. Im pretty sure they wouldn't like to be associated with criminals.
Great video
Concorde didn't stop flying for commercial reasons. The flights towards the end of its service were profitable.
Totally informative as always 🇦🇺🤠👍
A "sustainable successor to Concorde"? Sustaining what? Super rich people's super unnecessary super fast air-travel?
I'd rather sustain the ecosphere we humans require to continue to live. Please stop celebrating air-traffic as something cool.
Concord was undermined by jealous Americans making its viability as difficult as possible. Despite that, they managed to stay profitable, until the French accident.
woohoo, more fireworks 🙂
I see these starlink satellites all the time at night, they are annoying and very common
We're more used to thinking in terms of goatpower here in Scandinavia. What's the conversion rate from horsepower to goatpower again?
Is "booster" stage 1 on Starship? Or something else?
Help me understand why they are not installing landing legs on the ship. They wont have a Mecazilla on the moon or Mars to catch the ship so why are they not designing this into these early prototypes to perfect for future uses?
On average, 1 horse has a peak power output of 15 horsepower.
If and when it has Warp Drive I'll call it a Star Ship. Otherwise Nope,
not even close.
ild bet this man will ride a starship 1 day
Amazing to think of the savings made by SpaceX with its launches compared to non reusable rockets.
Ngl “ponypower” sounds a lot cooler
Thanks Marcus……These videos must take a huge amount of work ….the video quality is first rate Thanks! All these MH videos are extremely interesting and fascinating!
Unfortunately we wont see the 6th test flight until tomorrow
Might as well put New Glen straight in a museum and skip any actual flight, saves a cleanup 😂💩🤡
Blue Origin has already been using Hydrogen fuel in New Shepherd all these years, so they should be familiar with it. It should be good for expendable upper stages.
Also NASA, ULA, has used Hydrogen for upper stages because that is where the greater specific impulse pays off the most.
Unfortunately, the SLS was built on "shuttle technology" which is as silly as the original Atlas Stage-and-a-half design and lugs the huge single HydroLOX tanks of the main stage almost to orbit. That sort of negates the benefits of the Hydrogen and makes SLS have LESS payload to orbit than the Saturn V, even though it has more thrust at lift-off. Stupid engineering that would have Werner Von Braun rolling over in his grave. (At least Convair has an excuse on Atlas. They were not sure of being able to ignite a second stage in flight.)
But my biggest gripe with the BO Lander is the use of HydroLOX on engines that CANNOT FAIL. The astronauts' lives depend on being able to lift off from the lunar surface. That's why the wise old greybeards of 1960's NASA used the simplest engine imaginable – a pressure fed hypergolic engine. All they needed was helium pressure and valves to open to fire the engine. Imagine — all these lunar landers using HydroLOX will have to have NO fuel or helium leaks, and a working turbopump and ignition fuel to work. That's why I think that trying to reuse them over and over in space will prove unreliable. On a short mission, you can control Hydrogen and Helium OK. But over time those seals are going to break down and then all that nifty Hydrogen is going to leak into space, making your engine a dud.
Notice the incredibly intense soundwaves moving away through the mist.
Horses do less work than ponies?
You can still see that tiny plot of land that was the rebellious hold out. The land is utterly useless now and I suspect the value has to. All for what? Good luck with that, they should've just sold.
14:33 Interesting theres multiple cases of this being the record a booster couldn't break. It's like the 23 club for rockets.
David, Canterbury, UK….Thank. You
Chapters please 😊
flight 6 already…. awesome Elon
Marcus had me thinking for a moment they had a new drone ship called "Just read the instructions the next day"
Marcus… I just saw Kevin [GreatSpaceX] illustrate [again] the massive fuel quantity requirements to get Starship into orbit. The tonnage/trucker fleet/etc size boggles. Then the thought occured: Elon wants to launch 1,000 starships more or less together. So multiplying the 1-shop fuel requirements by 1000. Well has anyone explained how this will be possible? Thanks.
Just under 3 hours to go.
I am looking forward going back to the moon and establishing a base there and live there like we live in earth. I can imagine just looking from the moon earth how beautiful and most look thank you Elon Musk..
I hate that all the work of all engineers and others in that company is now tainted by the fact that it is space karen's company. I am starting to feel like that rocket lover that hated what the nazis did with the V2. I want them to succeed, it is so cool, but at the moment I hope all tests fail, or some engineers have the decency to not want to work for the company and its ceo.
Awesome video, packed full of information! But the way my brain works, the one random tidbit I'll remember for the rest of my life is that 1 horsepower is about 1.5 ponypower
