At least two people died as a result of the “bomb cyclone” that ripped through western Washington Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
While taking a shower, a woman was struck by a tree and died, according to the Bellevue Fire Department (BFD).

For us, the storm was hardly eventful at all. There were no trees down. The power went out for about 10 seconds, then came back on. And that was it. Strange how some areas not far from us got hit so hard.
The entire city of Bellevue went dark.

I pray everyone is ok. This is a good time, to think a backup power supply, that doesn’t use gas/propane. The Bluetti, the Ooops, the Jackery this will keep you in touch. It will run a Cpap machine. If it’s large enough, it will run your whole house. $1200.00 price tag, is an investment to you, in an emergency. You can even run a portable heater, or your fridge. Even your electric stove, if you purchase the largest lithium iron phosphate battery pack. I build small ones, for family Nd our emergency services. So they have back up to charge electronics, and run Cpap machines.
Why dont u tell us about the weather mods that our state is doing to cause this. U can see it on radar. Yet its mums the word. The elites are literally killing people. We are currently in a declared state of emergency from the fires and our govt is allowed to committ weather mods during this time. Its literally in our RCWs. Why arent u informing the public of this and investigating this? Smith mundt act needs to be reinstated. At all levels.

They made up this storm name up to scare people. Go look at the Columbus day storm and the winter storm of 95 those were much worse.

I was in this storm, it was bad, school canceled, can’t get out of driveways, friends coworker had 2 trees fall on there house in there 2 year old room, luckily she was fine.
When my lights started to flicker, I turned on the heaters. An hour later, when my lights started flickering more often, I set the kettle. Right after I removed the whistling kettle and turned off the burner, the power went out. I had to pour the tea and hot cocoa by flashlight, but at least I had the hot water for it! On the other hand, my mom's ham in the oven was not so fortunate. And my upstairs neighbor tripped in the dark looking for his phone or flashlight and almost fell.
Unrelated, my new neighbor (a different one) did not have any flashlights, but fortunately we had some to spare. Check on your neighbors! Even if you never talk to them and don't know them, and even if you're afraid they say they're fine. If they don't need anything, you'll at least be remembered for being nice for it. Like wow, that was very thoughtful! They'll remember to check on you in bad situations, too. You never know when you need help or supplies, yourself. And don't be afraid to ask your neighbors!
