I can't believe you haven't watched this movie before. It's a real classic. You don't even have to be a JD fan to enjoy this. It's just so much fun. One of my favourites.

Oh the cartoon is 10/10. This is a great movie, but I'll always love the cartoon best. The cartoon never specified if it was the horseman or Brom in costume.
I remember my mom never letting me watch this movie because she thought it would be scary, I watched it as an adult and it was whimsical and fun. (:

Masterpiece of a movie
I love this movie, it was one of my first scary movies. I also heard that Depp bought the horse that played Gunpowder because they were retiring him after this film. It made me really happy to hear that. I love it when actors bond that closely with their animal costars.

If I'm not mistaken didn't Johnny Depp adopt the horse his character rode in the film? I believe they wanted to euthanize it after finishing filming because it was too old but he adopted it and saved it because they formed a pretty close bond. So sweet.
And I agree the visual and practical effects here are fantastic and still hold up to this day🙏🏼
