Well kept, and organized. There seemed to be a targeting reticle , as well as various numbers in low contrast colors along the side. A loud explosion was heard, and several seconds later, the highest ranking person in the encampment simply fell over.
“That was a single human… SNI-PER. She was nearly 5 standard units from the target, and spend over six Earth rotations WALKING to that inhospitable location, just because it had an unobstructed view of the enemy encampment.”

There is a metal box there, very much out of place. Colored black. A lid at the top is opened, an$ a human man stumbles out. Much of his dermis is dry and cracked. Clearly a black box in Earth’s sunlight would be hotter than the ambient.
