I know it's a meme to always trash the Dolphins in December, but 2023 they were .500 for games in December and January (not counting the playoff game that was the 4th coldest in NFL history). Two of those games were against the Ravens and the Bills, two of the best teams last year. We'll see if they manage to do as good this December. They'll really need to if they hope to snag a wildcard spot. Anyway, glad they have at least a little hope left!

Regarding Perna's comment stating Chiefs fans have to admit KC benefits from the refs. It is total bullshit.
Thede calls/ no calls wouldn't make a difference if KC's opponents weren't giving them points and making stupid mistakes. Go back to any game with a controversial call and I will show you how the other team blew the game.
I don't care if you hate the Chiefs, but the crybaby ref shit is extremely old. It's way easier to blame the refs than the teams you want to see win for playing poorly.

In Mahomes career the Chiefs have been called for FAR more penalties than their opponents for OVER 1,000 more penalty yards. I can name time after time after time after time after time where the Chiefs have fucked by ticky tack BS calls, you give me ONE, where a game was given to the Chiefs on a true "ticky tack" call. you know, like fingers in the neutral zone(cost the Chiefs the 2018 AFC CG – at the same time the NE LT was lined up in the backfield), toes in the neutral zone(while Von Miller(bills) was lined up right next to him and was just as offside, but no call on that), a lineman who is straddling the LOS is called for being illegally downfield(cost the Chiefs a TD and a win vs the Bills), a RB called for "low block" on a DE(took a TD off the board vs the 49'ers), there is no such penalty, BTW, touching tom brady on the shoulder, is roughing the passer, talking back to a qb that is yapping at you is unsportsmanlike conduct(cost the Chiefs the game) etc, etc,etc etc To Chiefs haters all calls vs the Chiefs are good, ANY call made against their opponent is bad and cost that team the game. BULL SQUAT, the Chiefs overcome horrendous calls most of the time, is the ONLY difference.

I think when it comes to the refs being on the chiefs side the thing everyone fails to talk about is that the refs are bad in every game.
There are terrible calls that have huge impacts on the end of most of these games. These calls get put under a microscope in chiefs games because everyone hates them but it’s not a Chiefs problem it’s a refs problem.
