"Wow, the tornado's RIGHT THERE AND HEADED THIS WAY! Now where's my camera at…"
These are some of the luckiest people on earth. Each of these were monsters. Chandler would've got his ass kicked.
9:52 135m/s equals 301mph. Fuck!
22:31 camra man never dies
Storm chasers are the only cameramen who have an Achilles Heel.
Tornados might be the scariest thing ever.
The first tornado in Fritch was filmed by the occupant of the trailer, who survived, but when he drops the camera in the middle of filming, he had been struck by lightning and was temporarily disabled. After regaining consciousness, he filmed the aftermath.
Thumbs UP.
12:00 there is your oh, $h*t moment.
Too cool! ❤
3:10 I've seen it posted that guy filming the Fritch tornado was knocked out by a lightning strike. Do not have any outside confirmation though
😮 The Fairdale video is infamous now even after his death. Shows the true power of a tornado.
1st video isnt up close. Its literally inside the tornado
Don't EVER underestimate the power of tornadoes. Hell hath no fury on Mother Nature.
Clem probably should have at least warned his wife, who was in the kitchen, probably cooking or something, having no idea this was coming.
I love these videos
I remember seeing the Fritsch video when I had the “Twister: Fury on the Plains” compilation video.
Fritch was a very unusual tornado. It's hard to tell what was happening for sure, but it appears that two things are going on at once. First, the Fritch storm spawned multiple tornadoes simultaneously. The cone tornado could have been a satellite orbiting the main funnel, a previous tornado "handing off" to the big new one, or both. The main tornado itself seem to go through an elephant-trunk phase before "wedging out" into a multi-vortex monster. When it hit the cameraman's location, it might have already been in a weakening phase, or it just brushed by him. And that probably saved his life. A direct hit from an F-4 in a trailer, or out in the open, is usually not survivable.
The thumbnail looks a nuke went off…
The 1974 tornado in Alabama is an outbreak I remember. I lived in Columbus, Ohio and the destruction in Xenia, Ohio was devastating. I was 11 and the number of tornadoes we went thru that year made me terrified of them. I taught myself to be very aware of the weather around me, I’m kinda ocd about it, tbh 🤷🏻♀️
the clem vid sounds crazy with headfones
Clem's is the most insane tornado video ever, he's calmly breathing, even when it hits, there's very few human beings that would just stand there with that tornado coming, he survived but his wife didn't, I can't help but think, why wasn't he protecting his wife. Views ?
As a storm chaser myself, I'd like to thank you from the chaser community. You actually cite your works, and give credits. Thanks for this.
"Don't"!!!!
dr prowl videos are so relaxing. maybe im different.
Although the music is not terrible, I'd rather watch these without background music, even if silent.
Clem had his back broke. Yeah he lived, but at he also lost his wife. Would rather die
The Hackelburg/Phil Campbell was an EF5
Whenever I see a thumbnail with the Rochelle tornado on it I know I have to click on it
This was incredible put together very well
Dude was an idiot on the last one for not taking cover when its coming directly at you.. thats like wanting to die
