As a mage I'd at least permit the use of a dagger, as NPC mages always pull theirs out when their magic is low. Or because they're stupid.
Also, no enchanting? I'd at least use that, though only allowing myself to wear clothing equipment.

You should do a modded playthrough to become as op as possible and add a mod evey either day or every 10 days
