the rationale of pushing into russian territory becam clear to me today only: as trump pushes for ceasefire along the current frontline, the one condition for putin to disagree is if he has to give up russian territory. on business m&a this is called a poison pill. this putin cannot swalloow. ukraine and biden foresaw this and so they acted in case trump gets elected. that he did and there we are: trump will suggest ceasefire along frontlines, ukraine makes sure putin answers first, putin says no so trump is left with only one option: to support ukraine. beautiful!
