I just wondered if you took a soil temp before the sample? A lot of nice soil aggregates and fungi. I looked at my soil after the jumping worms were done with it in just one growing season, no soil aggregates to speak of. The most biologically active material I look at under the microscope is my composting worm castings. I use all natural bedding and mostly local or foods from my garden, loaded with biology and fungi.
