Such a heart-warming video. Thank you for sharing it and showing the world some kind-hearted people doing positive things.
If anyone reading this is on the fence about taking in an animal in need, please know that it's a very worthwhile thing to do and it does make a difference. Last year, I took in a stray cat. She'd been found by a social worker at my children's school. She couldn't keep the cat and no shelters were able to take her. So, with a lot of trepidation on my part, I took the cat. My parents had outdoor cats when I was a kid and I hadn't had an indoor cat before. To make a long story short, I opened my home to a cat who is highly aggressive with dogs and other cats.
The cat was also pregnant at that point. 15 days later, she gave birth to 5 kittens, who were all healthy. Mama Callie got through the delivery and recovered uneventfully, much to my relief.
We still have Mama Callie and her babies. All have been neutered because I want them to enjoy being pets. I became a crazy cat lady overnight, but I am not crazy enough to want my cats breeding continuously with their littermates.
I'm sharing my story in the hopes that someone out there will read it and take in an animal. If you can't take in an animal, volunteer at a shelter or donate money or items to a shelter. Every little bit helps. Taking in a cat has been a wonderful experience for my family. Mama Callie is very sweet with my kids, my husband and me. Her kittens are adorable and just turned a year old. They are all healthy, even-tempered and well-behaved. It's been a win-win situation for everyone involved (except for some pieces of furniture that are scratched up, even though my cats have several scratchers to use π).
Thank you for saving these dogs and giving them the opportunity to become healthy and adopted by loving and caring people. β€β€
Words cannot express my gratitude for helping all these beautiful beingsπβ€πβ€πβ€

Oh my heart sings for all of these precious animals and rescuers! Thank you sooooo much! β€β€β€
I love it when we come together and help animals who need help and a family who will love them so much .
I remember Khaleesi's story when it first happened. She was really on the brink of life and death. I wasn't sure if she would recover. It's amazing to see her now!
