  12. How is it that people don’t understand that Disney doesn’t put up with people trying ticket, entry or parking scams? Plus they yell at the CM telling them that doesn’t work? Have to wonder what else people like this, with no shame, would do while not at WDW. 🤦🏼‍♂️

  16. If people are paying for the “line shortening” Lightning Lanes, I can’t stop them. I will say that I see this as a failure on Disney’s part to efficiently operate their parks. For over a decade, the 1990s into the early 2000s, it wasn’t even needed. My family and I would often walk onto attractions let alone stand in line. It wasn’t until 2003 or 2004 that we even considered FastPass (which was included in the price of admission) and we only used it for two rides, Soarin’ and Peter Pan’s Flight. All other rides would have wait times that rarely, if ever, exceeded 30 minutes. Somewhere around 2012, this suddenly changed.

    It was if they hadn’t planned for what they created with DVC and resort expansion, more people in the parks. The attractions are also crowded because they aren’t providing in park entertainment like they once did, in intervals that would reduce congestion near the attractions.

    I don’t mind Disney raising prices if my value is increased, lately they’re just raising prices to increase profits. They’re also doing it at a time where the majority of the park goers from outside of the commuting area are going to be cash strapped or go into debt for a once in a lifetime experience. It makes sense to me that park attendance is down and with the newly announced construction, it will probably be down for the foreseeable future.

    People go to these parks to have fun, escape the everyday, and make memories. It is something that I love to do, but I am taking a break while Disney sorts things out. I don’t believe that I will ever pay to get on a shorter line, but that could change in the future. I don’t like the Disney is following what others do now. They used to stand apart as a premiere theme park experience and now they’re employing tactics of their competitors. I know that it’s a business, but when you do not provide a substantial value for your offerings, as they did so well for so many years, people are going to take notice. It is going to reduce Disney’s “share of the pie” if these concerns are not addressed. The constant, “look ever there” mentality is getting old. If Disney truly wants to impress, then do that.

    In recent years, they have done very little to impress park goers and I say this as a huge fan. I wouldn’t have gone to Disney World 56 times in 44 years if that were the case (there is 17 year break in there from 1974-1991 and I haven’t been to the theme parks (except for Hollywood Studios for two days in 2023) since 2018). I wouldn’t have purchased DVC, which I will have until 2042 (40 year contract that paid for itself in less than five years).

    I want to go back to Disney theme parks and have all the fun I used to, but can’t justify the costs right now. If they can’t find a way to turn back on the people that are not currently going, it will be a real issue soon. Alienating loyal customers is not the best way to do business and neither is asking a premium price for what you currently get. If the parks were cleaner and better maintained, I might be able to overlook some of this. Appearances are everything in this industry and right now Disney appears to be losing its top spot. I can be swayed, trust me I can. They just need to do what they did to get me hooked in the first place.

  24. For the gingerbread displays across property , they all list each of the ingredients used….WHY? No one is going to eat any part of it because they have been baked since August. Why put spices in it, why not just pump the smell as they do for everything else? Water, ok flour ok, eggs ok but why waste spices and other things that doesn’t matter.

I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at kislux and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i. e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.

  26. You can actually put real ice, and In fact its probably going to be real ice, It can be done, seaworld doest it every year. Just like the snow tubing park down by tampa. Not that difficult to do.
