Podcast is Called : ASN Humans Are Space Orcs , HFY and other stories
————–
This Story is Classified as HFY or Humanity Feck, Yea , but what does the Mean?
————-
HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.
————-
Taken from the FAQ of the r/HFY subreddit.
Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don’t always put a positive spin on humanshumanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

I wonder, why do we not see you now? Just the narration.
neat
For the algorithm
A little over the top with fleets at near light speed going out to colonize, with various waves of drones to prepare planets. A much different approach from individual or fleets of STL generation or suspended animation colony ships, not knowing what they would find at journey's end. Thank you for the story.
Interesting story, great narration .. This is how you can perfectly describe this channel. Thank you ASN!
Great work as always. Thank you.
Now recreate this in Stellaris
Interesting story. I kinda wonder what the humans will be like. (I confess, a part of my brain got cynical and imagined that the human component of the process was lost, but the process was so automated and self-perpetuating, that worlds upon worlds were being uplifted but no humans remained to share them.)
Great story; Excellent narration! Definitely need a sequel to tell us what happens in the next phase!
So because humanity is 1% faster than the Continuum, they just start wrecking the entirety of the Continuum with like little to no push back? Even though the Continuum has likely been entrenched in their galaxy for possibly millennia?
Of course, this is assuming that the Continuum are almost Grabby aliens or are near similar tech.
Considering that the Continuum still reside in their home galaxy, i feel like combat with them would be costly, after all you're in their home turf.
It seems reasonable if humanity has multiple colonized galaxies, they'll be able to send more fleets after the initial ones are damaged/destroyed. However to think that the inital fleets wouldnt face problems or possible major damages is clear plot armor to me.
Noice story
Terramada. What a great new word to learn.
Nice vignette! Great handling of an interesting plot trick. Kudos to author & to Squirrel.
Good story tnx
This story begs for some follow up tales.
FOR THE ALGORITHM!!

Greetings, Mentlegent!
For the Rhyhtm that is Algo
Humans are Space Dwarves and Engineers who have no time for Xeno imperialist BS
So how do they communicate to fleets near speed of light? If ships going .99999 the speed of light. A radio signal taking 6 weeks to reach fleet. They slow down enough to add years?
I half expected humanity to be all dead. That this was set up to be autonomous.. but the human ships were lost. So these great fleets release tens of thousands of civilizations who can never meet a human.
Love ❤ your work and your voice ❤ thank you
It always gives me a jolt when I see one of my stories appear in the feed. Loved the narration, Squirrel. I've got about 50 DMs from AI channels asking for the content, but it's a hard no from me. Particularly when folks like you are out here putting craft into it.
Next phase is the hugging phase. We ARE grabby!
Thanks!

Sounds more like humans are bureaucratic. For the algorithm!
