If the cab relys upon the self-driving software then this scheme will become a drag on the company as software issues foil self-driving hopes.

Tesla stock price has been fantastic for those who bought pre-2020. Since 2020, it’s been flat. I checked the stock market historical price chart. Why do you think it’s flat?

Imagine if Apple said “we will have an iPhone next year that can monitor your arteries and if it finds a blockage for a potential heart attack, it’ll notify you to go see a doctor now”. I think that’s how far off Elon is with his fantasies.
I have fantasies too. Dreams of remote artery monitoring, flying cars and expeditions to another galaxy. But I don’t truly believe we have the tech for this yet.

Used to be a long time listener, until Elon decided to use Twitter to expose his right wing fantasies. I got bummed at that point and unsubscribed. Sorry. We all know Elon shouldn’t make comments that lack maturity and sensitivity, such as saying Harris should be assassinated or needlessly attacking the government that benifits him. And yet we Musk/Tesla fans accommodate his behavior. He’s a new Trump or Rupert Murdoch in the making. We shouldn’t let his behavior slide with jokes on Tesla Times when the words he uses are hateful, insular, or simply random. (Ex: “we should elect a different party to be in charge. The Dems have had the congress control and a change is good,” he says referring to the democrats, and then he’s supporting Texas republicans like Greg Abbott who has been governor for 16 years. Unfortunately, Elon is just rationalizing his bias rather than challenging it.)
So Tesla Time complains about “legacy media and retractions”, yet we let Elon mouth off and don’t hold him accountable for when he speaks nonsense or inaccuracies. I get that you guys are entertainers and you keep the show Tesla positive, but the hypocrisy is getting worse as Elon is devolving to wearing MAGA hats. At least this viewer wants content with a consciousness, not blind adulation. Maybe other viewers agree. YouTuber Jerry Rig’s “why I liked and disliked the Cybertruck” video is a good example of someone making a principled statement that Elon’s behavior isn’t normal or even polite. We don’t need Elon preaching to us like we are tuning into “AM Talk Radio with Elon.”

I wish there were a place to bet on whether the demand for a drivable robo-taxi-sized car would or would not change this one-man decision within Tesla. Lots of parents would like their kids to learn to drive cars with controls in a cheap EV that also could do FSD. We'll see. If Elon were focused only on Tesla I think his decisions would be easier to accept as gospel. Could the board override this decision.
I was gratified to learn that Elon has promised a hardware 4 CPU upgrade if needed. This would require a redesigned mother board, since the Model Y H4 cars have a different form factor. Here's hoping. I want me my H4.
When I drive my Model Y myself, I am much more aggressive than FSD, usually because I'm in a hurry. Clearly this also makes me more dangerous. I don't remember the last time I had to disengage to avoid what I considered a dangerous situation, rather than just an undesirable one.

I had been an Elon Musk fan for a long time, but have had to re-think that a lot lately, because of his political stance and sometimes idiotic utterances. One thing I have felt for a long time is his huge investment in his Tesla business in China, and the risk that involves. He obviously has had a sweet deal with the CCP, but that could change any time. He will be coming under increased competition from the top Chinese electric car makers, who are all facing increased protectionist import duties in Europe and the USA. At any time the CCP could say "Enough", and just take over all Musk's factory and assets. What would stop them? What that would do to Tesla's stock price, Heaven only knows.
After being a modest owner of Tesla shares for some years, I recently sold them all, making a modest profit.
I admire his other innovative ventures; SpaceX , Starlink, Solar and stored power for homes and utility companies; Neurolink with the possibility of restoring functionality to paralysed people etc.

I am embarking on a significant six-month journey. I'll be circumnavigating Australia in two CYBERTRUCKs and a Tesla Semi, covering a substantial 22,000 kilometres. This journey is set to commence at the beginning of February 2025. Elon shall help me.

I started in 1972 to 1974 when I received air pollution results from my contract with the EPA NSW governments. I did this because I used to live in Eastern Arterial Rd, Lindfield NSW 2070, Sydney, one of the areas with air pollution. I went on to expose the air pollution across Sydney and Newcastle. I was in pain arse of every EPA of all States across Australia.
As we travel, we aim to meet all the Premiers of the States, including notable figures like The Hon. Anthony Albanese, MP Prime Minister, and The Hon. Chris Bowen MP, Minister for Climate Change and Energy. Fun fact: I used to grab coffee with Anthony Albanese in Lewisham.
This adventure isn't just about the miles and the impact we can create. I'm looking to build a team of six to join me, with a special call-out for a camera and sound crew to document our journey. Women like my wife Kate are encouraged to apply as they bring relatability and the necessary driving expertise.
I will raise a minimum of AU$1,800.000.00. Those who have helped me the people and companies:

My wife, Kate, saved me. I am now swimming 120 lengths, 25m, at Goonellabah Pool, which has a total length of 3,000m, three times a week. I will swim in 25 m and 50 m pools when circumnavigating Australia. We shall have them for the disabled and elderly to help them in their homes or for anybody who will use them for any task they cannot do. They will be more intelligent than most people.
6. Promote of Tesla – Cybertruck, Starlink, Optimus
7. Promote the CYBERTRUCK to the State Government and Police forces of States.
8. Promote the Tesla Semi. We will use it for concerts and accommodation while circumnavigating Australia. The trailer of the Tesla Semi will be covered in PV, which will charge the batteries of the cyber trucks and Tesla Semi in places without chargers.

Thrusters, and propulsion systems other than wheels or treads, are specifically illegal on the roads of all/most states. Because "thrust" may move other cars around, or blown down bikers and pedestrains.

A hypothetical: if voter ID is implemented then the ID should be one which includes citizenship and not easily counterfeited. A passport may also be allowed. A driver’s license or state ID card should not be allowed. If a lady approaches the the polling place without an ID but the poll worker has known her for more than 20 years so he allows her to vote without providing ID, then how many years should he be in jail for allowing a person to vote without ID?

So the hungarian letter "ő" is pronunced like the "o" in "word". In hungarian there are short and long versions of vowels, eg: a-á, o-ó, ü-ű, ö-ő. Instead of dots or nothing, we put accents on top of the vowel.
