About Dragons of Fate
A courageous heroine trapped in the distant past is determined to return to her own time—without changing the shape of the world forever—as the New York Times bestselling Dragonlance series continues in this thrilling sequel to Dragons of Deceit.
A clash of powerful magical forces sets off the Graygem of Gargath, sending Destina Rosethorn and her companions deeper into the past than she intended—to the age of Huma Dragonsbane and the Third Dragon War. Now, with the Device of Time Journeying shattered, they must find another way back to their own era before the Graygem irrevocably alters history and the Third Dragon War ends in defeat for the forces of good.
While the battle rages on, Destina tries desperately to make amends and prevent disaster. Raistlin and Sturm encounter their heroes Huma and Magius, and must reconcile the myths with the men. And Tasslehoff, shocked that the Knights of Solamnia have never heard of dragonlances, sets out to find the famed weapons.
But as the forces of the Dark Queen close in on the High Clerist’s Tower, Destina’s party must return to their own timeline together—or not at all.

Almost finished it. I have a lot to say about this one
Just finish the audiobook now I got to wait for the next one do you know when it comes out
Finished it last night!
Finished it Monday, loved it, especially the last third of the book. Can't wait to talk about it!
Just a random (hopefully) constructive bit of feedback – I've been watching a lot of your videos lately and really enjoying them, however I'm finding that overlay that you use to be really distracting/unpleasant. The Dragonlance logo at the top is fine, but the very faint white patterns all around the screen seem really unnecessary and do nothing but lower the quality of your videos. Just food for thought.
Got it. Finished it in 2 days.
I'm going to buy the book and I'm going to read the book to implore to people to bear in mind Dragonlance is a multiverse; now despite that it doesn't take an addle brained Kender to realize this book is written more to appease the aesthetics of the wotc contingent; its more of something they were coerced to write due to action rather than the book they really wanted to write but couldn't due to too many hands being in the pie. With that said keep your eyes open as I intend before I go blind to at least write some material consistent with 2e DL lore and bequeath it to the DL community for all to use.. Help put Dragonlance back on a Kenders map worth lookin at..
I loved the first book. It took several readings, but the last one right before Fate was released made me truly appreciate the craft of the novel, and embrace Destina wholeheartedly.
THIS second book…I know no spoilers, but WOW!
It perhaps is a masterpiece, and I have hopes that a lot more Dragonlance could spring from this! Just utterly blown away!
PS: I respectfully disagree about Tas “trying to fix the song”. Especially since it looks like we finally know who and where a certain kender Uncles origin is and who 😊
I've ordered through my local bookshop, but here in Australia, it gets released 1sept. Bugger. And yes could've ordered through Amazon like anyone else on the planet. I chose to support a local business, that I've bought books in the past from. Cheers.👍😎👍
It's timeee !!
I just finished this book last night. So so good. Better than Dragons of Deceit. And that cover! The High Clerist's Tower never looked so good.
BTW, the last name of Dragonbane was added after his death to acknowledge his legend. This is much like how the minotaurs refer to Kaz as Kaz Dragonslayer.
Here is a fun tidbit, the Nexus went back and sent corrections for the first book so it would be free of errors for the paperback. Guess it's just as bad in this one.
This moment in time is a special gift. New Dragonlance springs to life after so many long years of silence, and at the hands of the original authors. Incredible! Don't let the moment pass us by. Savor every moment as you read, the premium feel of the pages, the beautiful color of the map, a reuniting with old friends, discovering new ones, the call to high adventure, the fun and wild ride. These books had to move through an impossible gauntlet to become a reality. We are very lucky.
Just finished it yesterday, it was good and now we gotta wait like 4 months for the next book lolz.
