Whether gaining a significant advantage or not, intentional or not, rules are there for a reason. The players already knew the rules beforehand and have played several matches in this tournament format, so there’s no excuse.
It is, of course, a pity to end a series this way. But it would be equally unfair to let it continue by breaking the rules. These rules exist to ensure consistency and fairness for everyone involved, in every match, regardless of the result, team, or player.
No place for discussion about Memb's decision, and amazing series overall.

I think ultimately the best call. They sent the stone the first time and red then built a castle using the res the first time. Tbe second time they sent it back but it is a violation.

I'm a Vietnamese caster of this game and just for re-clarification, the sling was an oversight. I talked to Hope after the game and he said he was so ecstatic with the (would have been) win so he did the sling without remembering the rule for it (please note that Vietnam basically won at the moment Hope did the sling). ACCM and Saymyname were apparently in the same state of mind so they also didn't notice the cursed sling. Hope was heart-broken after game 4 so he couldn't play game 5.
Also I want to tell you that, from my perspective as a member of Vietnamese AoE2 community, Hope is really inexperienced compared to the other team members (ACCM, Badboy, Saymyname). Despite his current rating, he has only seriously playing in tournament for about 1 year. He also has a full-time job (99% of Vietnamese has to except maybe ACCM) and were having to play at 2am in the morning. So please be kind with his mistake. It's 100% unintentional. But at least in my eyes he performed extremely well so that's a small win for me. I hope you guys continue to support the guy.
Additonally, please ignore the bitter comments from some members of Vietnamese community. We are really heart-broken right now.
Lastly, with bitterness, good luck to Argentina in the finals.

this win of Argentina is a disgrace… not for the tournament and memb – rules are rules – but what a lack of class from the Argies here, claiming an admin win for a game they would have lost anyway without sling… feels bad for Vietnam team
Well lack of sportsmanship from Argentina but rules are rules so nothing illegal or wrong.
In future it will be cool to have a mod that disables that kind of sling in next sax nations cup.
