Richard, I think you will find that the truth was/is that William wanted to protect Catherine & keep her away from Megan & so he put her on his right side as he is a very loving husband protective of his wife at all times which we have seen demonstrated over the past year. If you were to interview the shop owner where the argument happened then you would find out that it was Megan who caused the fractious & that it was Catherine who ended up in tears. The shop personal have already gone public with this information.

Catherine comes from a background of cordiality and family unity and probably took a long time to wrap her mind around what Meghan was doing. Meghan Markle has a history of this behavior with family, "friends" and co-workers and it is not a stretch to see that she was the cause. Nothing short of Catherine giving up her position as the wife of the next King would have satisfied Meghan. I think Harry knew this too and didn't know how to deal with it. Shame on him.
