I'm so glad you covered botworld. I saw your video talking about it and decided to get it and I love it.
The TEMTEM team is unbelivebly clueless when it comes to fun in games. It really shows they are woke braindead studio. It's really sad because Temtem had so much potential. Honestly they should drop the wokeness and listen to the fans + Hire someone with a brain to pilot a Temtem 2 project.
Botworld is fun I just hope the patch it. U can't use the gust ability for sum reason it crashes. That's the only bug tho just don't use it and your fine

Hey Ed, recently in a Brazil sort of comic con but for games exclusively called BGS (Brasil Games Show) a demo for the brazilian monster taming game called Bagdex came out and I think it maybe release from 2025 to 2026
I think swarm only has that many wishlists from streamers/youtubers playing it because it’s a monster tamer horde survival roguelite (three very popular genres at the moment) rather then it being temtem. I think they’re completely unaware that the original exists
Near the end regarding games which has been quiet, i hope Lumentale makes an appearance soon as it's like 2 months until release and heard nothing since you featured it in the Monster Taming Direct in a previous year.

Im still pissed off with how temtem was handled. Just feels like the leadership had bad opinions on what made for fun meta mechanics and instead of admitting that they where both wrong and also investing too heavily into them to the detrament of more new content they simply abandoned the game for a vampire survivor clone using the IP
Also, the lack of regional prices put some of my friends off the game as they couldn't afford it.
Opinion from someone who actually tried the Temtem Swarm Demo and played it for 3 hours: It's a good game.
Huh. It's somewhat ironic that the DIGITAL MONSTERS franchise doesn't have a better track record with video games.
1:33 It would be great if For-maggi-a was at all unique and not suffering from same face disease so hard.
But Natsu and Lucy again worked well with Eden Zero so why not, I guess?
Which is weird Mashima can do unique characters but with the Main Protagonists he just doesn't for some reason.
TemTem Swarm still looks more fun than the original. Also disappointed that Next Order sold a million, because it's grindy and slow-paced compared to the Cyber Sleuth series

Just for reminder manga artist have some part on game development is not something new. For most popular "Akira Toriyama" have heavy influence in Dragon Quest art style.
It just some game now is more focus on graphic more than artstyle so fewer manga artist get involve in game dev this day.

Botworld may be cool to get back into. Nexomon designs somehow always have their own feel to them; they just have a unique art style I guess. Aethermancer animations are looking sick as heck. So excited for that game. Temtem has unfortunately lost my interest with the way they've interacted with the community, so I will not be supporting Swarm.
