It's a good thing there were plenty of bigfoot sightings in Texas so they could film there. LotR was almost shut down due to a rumor that the orc communities in New Zealand were fake.

I've been a Bigfoot freak since I was four/five years old, and have seen every single Bigfoot film ever made. I am not exaggerating. The Legend of Boggy Creek is easily my favorite, but Exists is a very, very, VERY close second–and is without a doubt the best Sasquatch HORROR film. Although I think Harry from Harry and the Hendersons is the best, most biologically accurate Bigfoot design ever, this film's Sasquatch design is really quite good as well–although a bit too…well, short. Nonetheless, it is VASTLY better than those godawful Weta designs.

I liked Exists, and I now realize that’s probably because people didn’t like the first version of it. If the characters in the movie had been annoying, I absolutely would have been rooting for them all to get ripped to shreds, so I’m glad for that first test audience that led to the version of the movie we got.
I would love to get a sequel to it. The original idea for the movie, about a group of Bigfoot hunters traveling to Russia, sounds interesting and I want to see it, but I worry that the studio would ruin it. The more money a studio invests, the more involved they get, and more chance of them making stupid decisions with it.
Good movie, it was better than expected. Great Bigfoot custom!

Funny cause a friend of mine said "they exists" and talked about his encounter when I brought up Bigfoot. I like how he didn`t get over dramatic about it

Cecil, you once took time off after the death of your friend. I lost my wife of 17 years at the end of this august. She was only 47. Aeortic aneurysm. Died painlessly in her sleep. That was the worst day of my life. Since I know you understand how it feels, I wanted to thank you. Your videos have played a big part into getting through some of the worst of it. She and I watched your vids together. I still feel close to her when I’m watching this channel. Just thought you might appreciate knowing that you eased someone’s pain slightly, seeing as the kind of guy you are.
