I realize today has not been a great day overall for New World, that is exactly why I posted this. It is not only another guide on a route for farming void ore, to me, it represented a member of the community sharing with other members, which during a day like today is a light in the darkness a lot of the community could use. So please try to save your "this game is dead comments for the forums or reddit and enjoy this for what it is. Don't get me wrong, I am aware of the state of things, and the frustration everyone is feeling, I am just wanting to keep things constructive. This game is dead. Everyone is quitting slowly but surely. Nobody to blame but Amazon for their shitty way of dealing with their faults.

Why is it a bad day overall for new world
I think the game has completely gone to shit since the recent update. They made the game require groups to enjoy but if you have too many people in one area the mobs are insanely hard to kill. Healers don't want to heal because you have to wear light armor to even heal decent now, and when you do you are killed by the overtuned mobs from all the players who bring 20 people to a 5 recommended zone. I am playing wow again and Ive completed everything in that game so that shows you how bad new world is that I would rather log in and do circles in Oribos than play NW.
This way of playing really kills the immersion for me. Mobs that would otherwise crush me can't jump up or down a ledge, so I can get away with this. Ugggh.
It is a very stupid and flawed way, but also a dangerous way. Look at the slots from the new world map and wait for every 10 minutes in places where 5-6 of them are together, it's better to farm 😉 It's safer that way ;). Just come to this area to collect chests. or ore + elite farm with group.
They fact that you have to do all this lame bs rather then just being able to play the game normally is why this games dead.

I think the main negativity wave our community gets hit by is from youtubers to be honest, not blaming you but theres alot of youtubers checking forums all the time then instantly when somethings going on they post a overall negative video about the game/situation making everyone seeing it feel somewhat the same about the stuff going on and they then either spread theyr negative thoughts to friends on discord or just link the video on mobile
By The way for furnishing there is a furniture called powder horn it need 1 animal horn ,15 gunpowder and 5 beeswax ,unlock at 102 give u 2k exp .when u salvaged it , it give u back 1 animal horn that u used , so u only need beeswax I think it is a good alternative compared to pure solvent

Are you on an empty server? There are never nodes anywhere on my server, no matter what time of day. And especially not in Mines

Can voidbent ore drop from any orchi node? I'm at 900 hours with not one yet lol. I don't typically farm the higher end zones though.. Like orchi ore in say winsward, or first light has a chance?

Algorithm
How much luck is needed for void ore to drop ? I usually just farm flagged with mining set and roasted veggies but I only ever get tolvium and cinnabar. Am I not meeting a luck threshold for void ore ?

That's way too much work lol.. Orichalcum ore is being sold at 0.02-0.03 on my server I never need to go and mine it.
Also you can't do this with a Ice/Fire mage now, mages have been nerfed out of the meta, so trying to solo this as a mage you're shooting yourself in the foot. Not worth it at all. I've seen ton of these "route" videos done by melee players in heavy gear etc, never by a mage. Also no one talks about where to get INT gear for mages, hell mages don't even have a set gear. This game is so anti mages to the point that it hates them.
yea do this when voidbent just came out or on a high pop, there's always a player waiting to do the last swing.
