Shinkansen is so expensive these days. Crazy.
Shinkansen is so expensive these days.
The live stream was nice thanks for answering my chat can’t wait for your another live stream
@11:50 is the remnants of the StarWars Space Cruise
Fun fact, the Shinkansen jingle was changed to Frozen’s “Let It Go”. It’s exactly the same jingle as used at the JR station right outside Tokyo Disneyland. As a Japan railway fan and Disney lover, this is such a cool thing!
Great livestream, my dude! ありがとう!
So excite to this, especially kids! Thanks for the info John.
Disney is the only place “money can buy happiness “ John
It also for all age spectrum
I visited Tokyo Disneyland last week for the first time. I was too tall to fit in the Splash Mountain boat. The staff said the boats were designed for Japanese body dimensions. I also had a problem on another ride where i barley fit. I enjoyed my time there, but i prefer the California location because they design the rides for all.
John, I just came to aware that your housing area was once a set for Japan drama TV series called "Good Luck" nice man.
Hi John, personally I’ve never been to any Disney park, so Tokyo Disney is on my bucket list. With Disney promoting everywhere, they have to keep Disney fresh in the minds of the people, to keep them going to the parks. I do love the Disney Shinkansen thou. Btw, I love the idea of the QR code on the postcard, it would be fantastic to get the background of the picture on the card, currently using the postcards to figure out where to go on my coming visit
Is there already a dedicated website like for the Hello Kitty one?
My wife and I went to Disney Orlando last year and the cost was $835 AUD for one day two parks.
Obscenely expensive
Can't wait for the Skytree episode! Great work as usual 🙏🏾📿
Thanks, will see if i get to ride it soon when i go autumn color hunting in tohoku later this month!
Disney in tokyo is really too packed especially on holidays, definitely not for everyone!
Disney prices in California have gone up even higher due to wage hike. 😮
I've stopped watching Disney films and going to the parks. They've turned into a dumpster fire.
Hi John! Fun livestream. You need to save your Mickey “next stop Sendai!” I’m still laughing. Hey, imho, I wouldn’t get too hung up on the mask thing in the Skytree video. We all lived through it and understand that it happened and people are still getting sick from it. Also, people get that Japan has always been mask wearing, especially in certain occupations. Don’t know if that helps but personally it wouldn’t bother me at all if you released a video with mask wearing going on.
I went to Tokyo Disneysea with the family about 2 weeks ago. It was very busy and we gained entry into Fantasy springs in the morning but the demand is so high that after lunch time you could not get back into the fantasy springs area. I don’t think they need to worry about smaller crowds coming to Tokyo Disneyland/ sea. The demand is still huge for the parks.
3:45 pose is questionable 😬 But what an amazing Shinkansen wrap. ❤ I feel like to actually visit Disneyland, I may have to come to Japan because the one in California is just ridiculous. The prices are unreasonable and it is sad to see how many won't be able to visit because of the prohibitive pricing.
As a Disney fan I would prefer the inside to be more magical than the outside. The wrap on the outside isn’t really bringing much joy to the person inside the train, and it’s basically just advertising to those on the outside. It should be more of a Disney experience on the inside.

I will say there's some justification for the price specific to disneyland anaheim. The relatively new star wars ride, marvel, etc are pretty extraordinary. Having been to Tokyo DisneySea, believe me it's barely worth $50. There's almost no themed parts of that park. It literally could say, acme theme park.
Tokyo Disneyland/Sea are awesome and relative to their American counterparts, much cheaper. We are looking forward to going back in February. We paid up the nose for a vacation package to maximize our time there and staying at Mira Costa.
Disney Paris is also super expensive, Tokyo is the way to go when you are already going to Japan ❤
Where they get ya is the Disney hotels. Super expensive per night even with the exchange rate.
