The 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid Is A Roomy & Efficient Electrified Family SUV

The #KiaSportage is the longest running nameplate in the Kia lineup and for 2023, the completely redesigned #Sportage is now larger, more powerful, and more spacious in its 5th generation. For the first-time ever, Kia is also offering a #SportageHybrid with up to 43 MPG combined for the base trim level. The exterior design shows off their new opposites united design philosophy and the interior has enough tech on it to make you seriously reconsider buying a luxury branded car.

  1. YouTube car reviewers are almost always so out of touch with who really buys cars nowadays. Literally nobody except car heads care about the power and their Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda etc. As long as it goes on the interstate nobody cares about 0 to 60 times in these sort of cars.

  2. Agree with Tommy that the paint doesn’t match a car in this price point. The paint won’t be properly cared for. Most will go through car washes and get destroyed. Looks great brand new but unless you’re committed to hand washing regularly with the correct products. Or getting your sub 40k vehicle covered with paint protection film, it won’t last.

  3. Ya know there are Americans that are looking for a small suv… not just some 2 ton monster… I have diesel trucks for that. To me it looks like they are copying Toyota. That key fob looks enormous!

  4. I put a deposit down last weekend on the Vesta Blue Hybrid SX Prestige with the Black Saturn interior in Texas. Will see if I ever get it or have to change exterior colors. Great video!

  5. The fuel economy just a joke. I got my Hybrid EX a months ago and it suppose to be 38/38/38 mpg. But in reality 32 mpg in city. Not even close to 38

  6. Major issue of gas version is mpg of awd , on highway it drops a huge 4 miles comparing to fwd. Previous model had another major con: cabin sounded like freight train on highway, and I was reading some reviews saying the same about this one.

  7. I like the styling more than Sofyan does. His references are conservative, and I'm an OLD dude. Yeah, some Kia's (and Hyundai's) may be overreaching but I think this one will age fine.

  8. Been shopping for a Hybrid for about 3 months. Test drove this one HEV (SX PRESTIGE). Was a no brainer. Fully loaded (had to add the towing package) Tax, title, license, a couple of other bs state fees, extended 11 year bumper to bumper warrantee (no deductible includes oil changes). Be prepared to pay about 5k more over actual MSRP due to shortage. Everything mentioned 55k out the door. I'm very happy with my purchase. Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Audi don't have half the upgrades. If this SUV had any of those emblems on it, I'm sure they would easily charge in the 80-90k price range. Highly recommend this SUV!!! LOVING IT.

  9. Weird criticisms this is a family car, not a race car. who cares about about how fast it can go, do you feel safe merging on to the highway… yes? then its perfectly fine.
