  1. 1 -we’ve been conditioned to the quick gratification of YouTube and tiktok
2- you need to go to a library and browse and check out covers and book jackets and find something interesting that you want to read in like the first page of you feel like you have to force yourself to read or like something because it’s popular you’ll only resent it and if it’s not your vibe it’s not your vibe no harm done
I’ve been getting back into books recently and it’s really nice to get off my phone and just get into a book with twists and turns or like something cute or inclusive

  2. As madre mia says, Halloween is all year round 🙂 I cannot wait to watch, well honestly I watch it even if it isn't October, but cant wait for Hocus Pocus 2, Halloweentown && so on 😛 My moms annual gingerbread decorating event which is Hocus Pocus themed for Halloween.

  3. When you looked up “why you can’t scream while you sleep” and read the answer, it made me want to tell you that I have the opposite RANDOMLY meaning I’ll act out my dreams. It’s different than sleep walking but I’ve woke up doing crazy motions😂☠️

  4. Check out Once Upon A Book Club. I used it to read more. You don't have a choice on the book, it's a surprise. But you get secret gifts the whole time you read to prompt you to get to the next one. It's great!

  5. Don’t know if I am mature, but I am older and I can easily say that life is way too short to invite people to your birthday party that are bother you in any way.
Let this be a wake up call for them, a moment of reflection on their actions and behavior, and if they can see where they have gone wrong with you, that is the moment of opportunity. Your birthday party is not the moment of opportunity nor should it be.
I will even be more cut throat….if they are unable to get the point, just let them go. If you are struggling this much with your friend relationship chances are they are not friend material for you. That is not a bad thing, they will be a good friend to someone else, hopefully.
Here is some cake as we contemplate this. 🎂 😂

  6. Laur, good for you girl. I went through the same thing this year.
Had someone I didn't invite to my birthday, they ended up asking to be invited, and I said no. It KILLED ME, as I do love and care for this person, but there had been tension from a recent issue, and not just between I and them. I still feel badly I had to, but it saved a lot of anxiety from the night, and I'm glad I did it. Amends needed to be made before we could all feel comfortable together, but my birthday was not going to be the location.
It's hard to potentially hurt feelings, but I have to put myself first more. I support the decision here.💕

  7. I’ve become an audiobook listener in the car because it’s become harder for me to concentrate reading physical books. Also if you still want to finish a Colleen Hoover Book listen to the ones Zachary Webber narrates. His voice is magic.

  8. see verity is beautiful it’s so good but it’s also a crime and like so good it terrifies me like you’ll read it all in a day and like you won’t be the same at all but like highly recommend just be emotionally ready

  9. When I was about 18 my then bf had a birthday party at the pub we all frequented and we had an intimate corner to chill in and this girl who used to literally bully me in middle school came over with her friend who were mutuals with one of my bfs friends girlfriend, and as she started asking people to make space for her I literally got up and told her she was not invited if they want to hang out together theh have the whole of the rest of the pub to do it. It's one of the meanest thing I've ever done as a shy quiet girl but it ended up being a great night and honestly felt empowered. We don't have to share our energy with anyone who makes us feel off especially not on birthdays

  10. Anything by Sally Rooney! She writes fiction but the characters are beautifully written and you still are left thinking at the end, she’s an amazing author. Plus her books are generally shorter

  11. I feel bad because this isnt personal at all, but I really dont like when podcasts have producers who randomly chime in off camera. like either be on camera and part of the conversation (like Miles on the try guys podcast). or don't chime in unless you're administering a game/Q&A/etc. (like TK on pretty basic). Otherwise it feels like an interruption or inserting yourself into someone else's convo. I'm sure it doesn't bother you two, but just some consideration from a viewer's perspective.
