Its good to see you come to Virginia brother, I am actually from Fairfax County. Never seen anyone do any education in this area and it's good to see. Would love to see you do more stuff around Fairfax. Prince William county is not far from there and their PD is way worse if you want to check out some places in that area.

Much respect to the officer that arrive. He has no problem with you recording in a public area. He is so respectful and casual. Perhaps he should tell security that they have no jurisdiction outside of the fence.
The sergeant with the oversized sunglasses doesn't answer questions because he doesn't know anything about the law! However, he does it in such an authoritarian way that everyone has to believe that he knows it very well! That's what they call bluff poker.

Those NRO security clowns did a piss poor job explaining anything to you Sean. If they were real federal police they should have explained to you that they do have policing powers up to 500ft surrounding a federal building. They can even run radar and hand out speeding tickets on public roads within 500ft of that building. They could have trespassed you but it seems they didn't even know that. I really wish they had been educated that day.

Does "this facility" include the driveway and sidewalk, or is it only the other side of the barbed-wire fence, after the guard lets you through the gate (or not)? If only there were some way to be more specific… maybe using the phrase "beyond this point"?

Pro tip for all the Duty Officers out there: "private property" means property owned by a private party, and "public property" means property owned by the government (i.e., the public). Just because you want to maintain secrecy or control entry, doesn't make it "private".
It seems the government needs to update its signage to be much more specific.

I wish the security was properly educated and you went back to prove they were wrong…as far as they are concerned you left because the cops told you too and they were justified in infringing on your rights…not sure how I feel about this audit…
I feel he shouldn’t have left when the security guards told him too, and he should’ve went back after to prove he was right. But idk, he was probably scared with all those guards and guns, I know I would. 😂
