Mermaids, Underwater Lounge, & $2.50 Draft Beer in Las Vegas

For something really unique, we visited the Silverton Casino to see the giant aquarium with LIVE MERMAID shows and to try the small menu at the Mermaid Restaurant and Lounge. Situated next to the entrance of the Bass Pro Shop, this grotto-style bar features a small food menu and plenty of beer taps, a couple that are only $2.50 a pint! We tried the steak nachos and buffalo chicken sliders, both served in generous portions.

Whether planning a Vegas vacation, Raiders game, Golden Knights match, or Formula 1 or Nascar race, finding great dining deals is helpful when deciding where to eat in Las Vegas.

Get his and her perspective on what we eat and our dining experience. We love to find all-you-can-eat (or all-you-can-drink) options, buffets, happy hours, and great deals at places you love to travel. We provide honest food reviews and a few laughs along the way.

  1. Fun Fact … Hootie and the Blowfish did a New Years Eve concert inside the Bass Pro Shops, Sundance Grill has good breakfast options. Love Silverton! (Paul's shirt and hat was so good for this bar)

  3. Always love your suggestions and ideas. Have been to a bunch of your suggestions and was looking for a place to go tonight and as a suggestion for you would be to mention the day(s) that they have specials and what they are. Not in great detail, but like “Tuesdays half off for locals”,

  4. Thank you for sharing the pro level move of dipping fries in blue cheese. I've enjoyed this culinary delight since 1979. Long before Ranch dressing became the cultural pablum that exists today, where school children are dipping their school lunch pizza in said cultural tragedy. May all your subscribers try the delicious combination of French fries with blue cheese dressing.
