The United States Navy (USN) is the maritime service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the eight uniformed services of the United States. The U.S. Navy traces its origins to the Continental Navy, which was established during the American Revolutionary War and was effectively disbanded as a separate entity shortly thereafter. After suffering significant loss of goods and personnel at the hands of the Barbary pirates from Algiers, the U.S. Congress passed the Naval Act of 1794 for the construction of six heavy frigates, the first ships of the U.S. Navy. The U.S. Navy played a major role in the American Civil War by blockading the Confederacy and seizing control of its rivers. It played the central role in the World War II defeat of Imperial Japan. The U.S. Navy emerged from World War II as the most powerful navy in the world. The 21st century U.S. Navy maintains a sizable global presence, deploying in strength in such areas as the Western Pacific, the Mediterranean, and the Indian Ocean. It is a blue-water navy with the ability to project force onto the littoral regions of the world, engage in forward deployments during peacetime and rapidly respond to regional crises, making it a frequent actor in U.S. foreign and military policy.
The U.S. Navy is part of the Department of the Navy, alongside the U.S. Marine Corps, which is its coequal sister service. The Department of the Navy is headed by the civilian Secretary of the Navy. The Department of the Navy is itself a military department of the Department of Defense, which is headed by the Secretary of Defense. The Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) is the most senior Navy officer serving in the Department of the Navy

The AEGIS SYSTEM abilities are just mind blowing amazing. Say a carrier group of 12 or more ships are out and about and the entire crew from every ship in the carrier group gets incapacitated for whatever reason.
During that time if enemy forces attacks the carrier group and all the crew from every ship is still incapacitated the AEGIS SYSTEM from every ship will automatically engage and coordinate their attacks as 1 unit and defend itself.
The AEGIS SYSTEM can actively target and engage over 100 targets from 200 miles away(not sure about the distance could be shorter) all at the exact same time. The tactics and the targeting can be changed in a fraction of a second if a new threat enters their radar range.
Yah dont mess with the US you can get slaughtered even when we are taking a nap.
LOL.. here is one really good reason they can kill the US navy…. nuclear capable hypersonic missiles which can change trajectory making them unstoppable…. you know, the ones they call carrier busters.

Yeah… it’s definitely a lot of money, but as they say freedom doesn’t come cheap! That said, while we’re defending the homeland, we’re also defending various allies full time, such as S. Korea and Japan. I can see Taiwan being added at some point, just based on what’s going on there. China needs take a seat and back the hell up, because the American People are not happy with what they are doing. They can sanction and do all the Military Drills they want, but our leadership will go where we what. We won’t be dictated to by China or anyone else. Frankly we’re tired of the thrivery that is China, and if we pulled our businesses out, they’d be screwed.
Remember that the NATO rules say a member country must spend 3% of its GDP on Military, so does the US spend a lot on it, not anymore than other member Nations.
Check out the minuteman III ballistic missile… has a range of 8,000 miles and flies at 8.7 kilometers per second and can carry up to 3 nuclear warheads on one missile

That is a South Korea submarine in hawaii where I live they come to hawaii for training which calls Rimpac or rim of the pacific all the different county’s come to Honolulu hawaii for battle training and other stuff china, Russia and North Korea are not involved in the rim of the Pacific exercise 11:14
In the US, we owe our prowess to the example of the UK.
I was on a sea-going ship in the US Coast Guard which becomes part of the Navy in wartime. We were drilling all the time on our coordination with the Navy and we were a fighting force on our own. We had a five-inch gun and that might sound small compared to WWII but that sucker could pack a punch. Even the 50 calibers were deadly but fun to shoot during practice. Our motto is Semper Paratus which means always ready. I was on the bridge deck out in the middle of nowhere around the 200-mile territorial limits of the US and all of a sudden a huge black Russian submarine popped up right next to the ship like a jack-in-the-box. Scared the hell out of me. But they tailed us and we tailed them and the Russians would play games like they were going to ram us, etc., but they never did anything. The original purpose of the Navy was to keep the worldwide sea lanes open for trade.

South Korea are allies under the 1953 Mutual Defense Treaty. So we have sold them subs. Among many other things.
Touch and go … standard pilot practice … you can never be too experienced with successful takeoff and landing .. up in the air is far less risky. I got lost late one night, driving my visiting parents around … and stumbled into a nuclear attack sub base gateway. There was no easy place to turn around. I stopped, spoke very nicely to a young fully combat geared Marine, and asked him if I could turn around, and he let me 😉 It might not be obvious, but those Tomahawks can carry an H bomb each. So the modded subs are … horrors! The Tomahawk in 1980, could fly into a particular window of a particular building (as demonstrated on mistaken? hit on Chinese embassy in Belgrade in 1994.

I worked on the EA-6B Prowler, the predecessor of the EA-18.
I’ve been aboard the Ponce in the mid-80’s as part of the (then) 26th. Marine Amphibious Unit. Many of the Ponce era amphibious assault ships of those days have been either sold to other nations or sunk for weapons practice. Nice to see she’s still afloat.
For the channel that made the video, what you see on screen does not necessarily correlate with what they are talking about.
I have seen these channels show footage of russian jets while talking about US jets.
The video part is mainly so you have somthing to look at while they talk.
Just a FYI them 3 experience SeaWolf subs are still to this day the quietest and deadliest attack subs in the ocean.

We are currently living in an uncertain and divided age within our own borders, which is unprecedented in our history. Ungodliness abounds that seems to birth more and more hedonistic and sinful behaviors demanding to be accepted into the norm.
