I felt a 6/10 on first listen. I like their discography but when they were hyping up this album in a “death metal like you’ve never heard before” enthusiasm it can be a tall order coming from a genre who’s fans are not the most forgiving or open minded as they claim to be. It had concepts and qualities I like but not strong enough to blow me away. I’m planning on giving it another listen and maybe I’ll feel the same but hopefully different next time.

I'm hardly a death metal fan, but HOLY SHIT this is magnificent. A death metal album with Tangerine Dream? This album is cerebral and beautiful. A 9 for me.
10/10 for me. There hasn’t been an album that has blown my mind and have so much I didn’t know I needed in a very long time.

I think this deserves higher than an 8. I’ve never really cared for BI… I don’t dislike them but outside of Timewave Zero, I didn’t really care. This album on the other hand blew my mind.
